3-Star Hotels in Amritsar

Had stayed at Hongkong Inn from 3 days (30Dec '23 to 2Jan '24). Hotel's accommodation, layout and facilities were great. It has a new construction, its rooms/ bathroom are spacious and clean. They have a basement parking facility, but you may consider using valet as the lane is narrow. We had breakfast included and it was good. The staff is helpful and cordial. Would recommend hotel for group & families.

The sound insulation effect is not good. Someone in the night next party opened the party and the hotel staff repeatedly stressed that it still failed to effectively persuade it.

Good staff Beautiful rooms, delicious food,specially front office team very polite and kind, Food services also too guddd . I definitely go there one more with my family. Near-by all major attractions like' Golden temple' Zaliawala bagh' partition museum and Hall Bazaar. Going to fix this place for our stay in future aswell.

Location - 10/10 Rooms - 8/10 (Premium Rooms) Food - 4/10 Parking - Not Available Staff - 8/10 Tariff - 8/10 We booked this hotel through Agoda at a much discounted price but our booking was cancelled despite providing Credit Card. Later when I checked, the prices had gone up and the rooms were shown as unavailable. When I contacted the property, the rooms were available and the tarriff was higher. Bottomline is - book online and pay upfront on the website to confirm booking. The location is the best part about this hotel. Its bang opposite jallianwala bagh and approx 400-500 mtrs from golden temple. Despite being in such a crowded area, the hotel rooms are surprisingly quiet. The bathrooms are clean and decently spaced. The hotel has no parking but there are plenty of parking spots nearby where you can park your vehicle safely. Its better to park your vehicle and use local e-rickshaws for roaming around as the lanes are very narrow and the frequent jams can give you a headache if you're driving. Use local transport. Its cheap and gets you everywhere. Our booking had breakfast included which was a mistake. The breakfast was very limited with very lazy staff who were in no mood to refill once the food ran out. I had to literally speak to the ***ager to get served. This became an everyday practice during our stay. You can totally skip having breakfast here and go out instead, the nearby restaurants open up pretty early and serve much better options at a lesser price. Non-veg food is not served here because the hotel is extremely close to har***dir sahib and you'll not get non veg options at other nearby options as well. There is a huge market surrounding this area which you can roam around and explore. The stay was comfortable and this hotel is a decent option for whenever you're planning to visit amritsar.

It was good stay and the staff was very polite and respectful and the room was clean as well. Only issue was that the toilet seat was not properly fixed and there was no complimentary water bottles. Rest all was good

I must say this is the best hotel if you want to stay near to the Golden Temple, its right opposite to Golden temple, I won't even call it walking distance, its like you step out of the Golden Temple and get into the space that is the shared parking space the hotels. The rooms are neat and clean, don't expect any luxury here, these are basic hotels, but provide all that you would need for a short 2-3 nights stay. I have stayed here twice and my experience has been great. In fact, on my recent visit I got lost and didn't know how to bring my car to the hotel, and the hotel ***ager sent someone to pick me up, that was a great gesture. One thing you need to be careful about is bringing your car here, its not straight forward, GPS doesn't work that great, it might guide you to narrow lanes where you might get stuck, better to talk to the hotel guys and they would guide you. The food variety is average, but taste is good and value for money.

Friendly well located hotel Very pleasant stay for 4 of us after visiting cricket in Dharamasala. Don’t be put off by outside of hotel in busy side streets of central city. Rooms are clean and well presented. Great location short walk from the amazing Golden Temple- go both in day and evening. Manager/owner v helpful and got us good deals on further hotels in Jaipur and Dehli at Indian prices. Nice rooftop bar restaurant. Bit slow service there but one must adjust ones internal clock in India. Nice place.

This hotel was very well positioned, we took a taxi from the airport, took about 20 minutes and cost £15. For visits to The Golden Temple ….5 minute walk, we also visited the gates at the Pakistan - Indian boarder, 25 minutes in taxi again costing £15, both ways. The hotel was well appointed with air conditioning and fan, clean and of good size, waterfall shower, supplied with shampoo and shower gel, WiFi was good in the room. Comfortable bed, with good pillows, our room was a the front of the hotel on the fifth floor, lovely views of local markets and restaurants, as well as a McDonalds for those less adventurous. Staff were extremely helpful, in arranging taxi’s for trips, it is a pedestrian area, but staff accompanied us to taxi, which is a walk of about 60 yards, not a problem for us. Breakfast was an typical Indian, with chick pea curry and local bread, butter toast and white coffee. I’d definitely recommend and stay again.
