Good day... I want to warn all Marriott hotel lovers about the hotel of this amazing chain in Amsterdam... This is the WORST hotel of the chain of all that I have been to around the world... by the way, a couple of days before Amsterdam, I lived in Marriott in Cologne and it was amazing and the team and service - everything was as always at the level...
1. Terrible dirt (photo attached), dust under the beds, clouds of dust in the doorways and a very difficult quest to catch the cleaning, since it was not possible to get through to them
2. The children accidentally spilled juice on the sheet, I went and asked for a new blanket... for 2 hours they did not bring it, after I got tired again, an extremely dissatisfied guy came and literally threw a stinking blanket at me, absolutely silently and clearly with a psycho (photo also attached) in their opinion, the child should have covered himself with it
3. I forgot the key in the room and asked at the reception to give duplicate, to which, again, with some obvious psycho, they demanded documents (I clarified that they were in the room), I gave my last name and room number, I was made to wait 30 minutes before a fat and unkempt bouncer came from lunch and only with him I was able to go up to the room, he opened it for me and stood and listened near the door for about 10 minutes 😅😅😅 whether I went to my room or not
In general, friends, Amsterdam is incredibly cool and atmospheric!!! My advice - do not ruin your vacation with this terrible hotel with rude and incompetent staff ((;
P.S. By the way, this is the first hotel in the chain where there was not even a bottle of complimentary water in the room, and for the one that was, they charged almost 9 💶 euros
