Nadia Hotel Reviews

Nadia has an excellent location and my room though small turned out to be very quiet. The breakfast room overlooks the street in one direction and a canal in another. It has a couple of small balconies. The breakfast was fresh croissants, bread rolls, various jams, butter and cheese, yogurt, coffee and tea, juice. In other words a standard continental breakfast- but plentiful and of good quality. The good thing about Nadia was the friendly, welcoming attitude of the staff which makes a big difference in one's enjoyment -especially in this era of over-tourism in cities like Amsterdam. Negatives? Well, of course the staircase is pretty steep but clients are forewarned of that by a photo appearing in the hotel listing. So no surprise about that. All in all, a nice place to return to after a day wandering around the city.

Location is very good, but breakfast is dissapointed. Rooms are very old.

Great location!

The old building decades ago, the original design is good. The sanitation is not bad, the toilet paper is still soft and slippery, but it is too old. Breakfast options are limited, but the taste is ok. It's just that the stairs with the same slope as climbing a mountain are quite scary. Fortunately, there are waiters to help carry luggage.

Everything is fine. This is our second time staying here.

Good hotel, excellent for two check-ins. Breakfast is simple, but for the money it's excellent.

Excellent location to move around Amsterdam on foot. Plus canal view with Westerkerk church! Breakfast nothing special (croissants with jams or bread with cheeses + coffee or orange juice). Old fashioned, but nice decor. Good value for money, I recommend it :)

The hotel is fine, perhaps they need to improve the breakfast, it is a little scarce and little varied. For the rest, recommendable to the 100x100 nadia hotel.

Although the stairs are high and narrow like other Amsterdam accommodations, there was no inconvenience in using the hotel as the hotel staff moved luggage. This is a decent hotel at an affordable price.

this is the second time we have visited Nadia hotel. we were very happily received and the manager made sure we were welcomed and made us feel at home. there was a bouquet of flowers awaiting us. Nadia hotel is central and is walking distance to most attractions in Amsterdam. hotel is very clean, comfortable and really feels like a home from home.

Third visit, love how quirky it is! The stairs are tough going but adds to the fun. Fresh croissants every day and they really do go the extra mile for you, we had to leave at 6am to catch the flight and they prepped us a breakfast to go😊 thank you all xx

The first thing you see when you enter the Hotel Nadia is a steep staircase stretching into the heights. The first thing you hear is the receptionist telling you they're sending down someone to carry your bags to your room for you. The friendly and helpful staff are a major reason I returned to the Hotel Nadia. The other is the location: three tram stops from the Centraal Station, and across the street from the Ann Frank House, which is so well signposted that you'd have to be seriously stoned not to be able to find the place. There are restaurants, supermarkets and fast food nearby, most of them open until late. The rooms are small with almost no floor space, but they contain everything you're likely to need, including a fridge and a kettle, and the beds are wonderfully comfortable. Highly recommended.

We always stay at the Nadia for many reasons, comfort, cleanliness, location amenities, price but mainly for the most wonderful owners and staff! You get such a warm welcome and feel extremely well cared for, always happy to help with a smile, beautiful place and beautiful people. We can't wait to go back......hopefully soon!

This is the second time I stayed here & I couldn't have been more welcomed. Manager called to welcome me home personally & sent flowers & fruit bowl. All the employees seemed to recognize me (even if they didn't they made me feel that way). Most helpful with directions, etc. Magda also offered me an umbrella since she knew rain was predicted for the day. Hotel only has stairs but you get but you get used to them quickly. If you have trouble with stairs this may not be the place for you. Older hotel but the service makes up for anything lacking in the rooms. They have refrigerators in every room which is why I booked here the first time - very hard to find in City center. Coffee maker, TV, excellent water pressure in shower, great breakfast with the most wonderful man always tending to buffet & cleaning tables. Great internet included, & I believe there is an ironing board that you can use. Location cannot be beat. Basically across the street from the Anne Frank house, a few steps away from the tram stop, many stores/restaurants downstairs (one bakery with the most fantastic peanut butter brownies). Next to canal & Jordaan district. I never had to use transportation, I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go. Minutes from Dam Square by foot. Tram can get you right to Centraal Station.
