Saw a big mosquito and some bugs in the room. Good service. Small room but price is relatively low in the city centre.

It's good value for the location and amenities it offered. Small rooms and thin walls though.

Really enjoyed the stay! It was on the cheaper side as it wasn’t the closest to Amsterdam Centraal. It was only a 17 minutes walk to Van Gogh museum and 19 minutes to Rijksmuseum. While I got two rooms, one for me and my husband and one for my parents, it definitely wasn’t wheelchair friendly. The stairs were steep to go on the higher floors so just keep in mind if you are on the older side or need extra help. Nonetheless, the rooms were spacious and comfy for two nights. We did not get breakfast as it was 17.5 euros per pax. Would definitely come back here again!

The hotel is close to trams 2,12. It is also close to Vondelpaark. But there is no wardrobe, no hair dryer, if you request, they give you a very cheap hair dryer. But there is a hair dryer that does nothing. towels are very old and smelly. There was a woman's hair on my pillow. I asked them to change the pillowcase but there were yellow stains on the new pillowcase. Unfortunately I was not satisfied at all. The hotel staff is kind but that's not enough for this hotel.

Easy and affordable. You get what you paid for. The room we had was very spacious. It is outdated and ikea designed but You get what you’ve paid for. Reception was very helpful and caring. Coffee and tea complimentary. All in all cannot complain.

Loved this place. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, great breakfast (extra fee) A little far from the center though Tram 2 runs nearby.

Not a bad accommodation experience. Close to the tram stop, very convenient to go anywhere. Quiet at night even though it's right on the street.

Perfect hotel for those who want to be close to the center, with good quality and preserved amenities, for an 18th century building. As it is an old building, it has some nuances, namely not having an elevator and having steep and narrow stairs (something that is traditional and unique in these buildings). Small details that make all the difference in a unique cultural and traditional experience. We loved everything, from the staff (very friendly and welcoming), to the conditions, amenities and quality of the hotel. I definitely recommend it!

The location is not far from tram line 2, the location is quite good But except for the geographical address, everything else is not ideal. Towels and bath towels: There are white stains on them (similar to toothpaste stains or other residues), very dirty Toilet: We live in room 20 on the third floor. The toilet leaks when flushing and flows all the way to the floor. It's quite disgusting. Hair dryer: The wind is very small and difficult to blow Bedsheets: Some of them were visibly dirty, and there were bugs on the bed on the last day of my stay. Pillow: quite uncomfortable to sleep on Hot water kettle: There is a lot of scale on the bottom and it cannot be washed off The stairs going upstairs are very narrow and steep. You have to be very careful and strenuous to carry a large suitcase. If you are not careful, you may fall down (but it seems like this is the case in old houses in Amsterdam?) Sound insulation: deviation, you can hear the footsteps on the upper and lower floors

It is an old hotel with a small area, no elevator, very small rooms, and very dim lights. If you don't mind living in such a dim room and a small environment, you can choose it. The price is not cheap.

The room was on the third floor, so the stairs were quite steep. It was hard to lift and lower the suitcase. I wish the stairs and the room were a little cleaner. The bus from the airport was easy to find, and it was nice that it was close by. We quickly arrived at Amsterdam Central Station by tram, enjoying the city views. I was supposed to go to Amsterdam Central Station, but for some reason Google Maps showed a route to get off at a station a few stops before and walk, but I didn't follow that. Of course, the final stop was Amsterdam Central Station. 👍The front desk staff were very kind and welcoming.

I often travel, and I can say that this is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. It cannot be called a hotel at all, and the price is not cheap. It's not even up to the level of a hotel. How dirty is it? Just look at the photos. Even now, when I see the photos, I can still think of this unpleasant night’s stay. There wasn't even a decent bedside table, so I used two stools to sit on the bedside table. The faucet in the bathroom was leaking, and I could hear the clear sound of water running at night when I slept. The flushing toilet was very slow, and it felt like it was difficult to flush it down even if I didn't dare to throw it in.
