The vibe in this place is intermittent sometimes it is fantastic great pace to be in, then other times very irritating.
The narrowness off the carriageways becomes annoying as does the longer staying people.
Really like the idea.
However won’t be back.

Staff were really friendly and their best to address our needs. Bathroom, toilet,and common area was clean and it's perfectly located next to the flixbus station.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This place is shocking and ran terribly , we booked a room coating 351 pounds and told it was a private room to find 2 additional people in , tiny compartments to stay and extremely warm , the train outside is rat infested and unsafe, we cancelled our additional stay more than one week before and the staff member said that was fine we wont be charged, we found today that we have been charged and the staff member on the phone was very unhelpful and said it was part of the policy even tho it says up to 48 hours before cancellation and we cancelled 5 days before!

I wanted to cancel my reservation because I got lice and didn't want to spread it to anyone else. I called the hostel and their front desk employee was really sweet and understanding and told me this was ofcourse possible and to contact Booking. But the request for cancellation was rejected, so I called again. Another kind lady advised me to send an email because something went wrong in their administration. I called again this morning to check, and a man from the front desk yelled at me over the phone and refused to be of any help. See the screenshots I've attached of my emails.

Es ist außergewöhnlich und nett gestaltet. Es hat eine ganz entspannte Atmosphäre und war alles super. Die Betten sind bequem und es war alles sauber. Durch den direkten Anschluss an den ÖPNV, ist es perfekt! Es gibt Morgens Kaffee und Kleinigkeiten zum Snacken und Abends kann man noch ein / zwei Bierchen genießen. Wir waren begeistert! Selbst die Betten sind bequemer als sie aussehen.

Good value for money considering that accommodation in this city is expensive. Breakfast is complete and they allow you to repeat. We were lucky and despite being shared rooms we were able to rest. Good location, close to the tram, train, buses... 2 steps from the Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station. Very friendly staff, and family atmosphere.

First of all, it was a short walk from Sloterdijk Station, which was reassuring. Amsterdam Central Station is also next door, so it's easy to access. The receptionist was very friendly and carefully guided me to my room. The top bunk bed is so high that you can almost touch your head when you sit down. It seems that the only place to open your suitcase is on the bed. I think it's good for people who just want a place to relax and be protected from the rain and dew. I was that type of person, so it was good for me.
