Our unique offering of 40 different rooms used to be school classrooms. Each room has a different atmosphere and feels absolutely special and so welcoming with high ceilings and bright daylight flooding in. The views give guests a glimpse into the Amsterdam that once was, with the surrounding buildings being almost as old as the College Hotel, peeking out of a window takes you back 100 years and it seems nothing has really changed. Liked the building and entrance. Really dim lighting in the room, a bit too dim. Location is a bit out of the way but tram is literally at the hotels doorstep so not too big of a deal. Great front desk staff.

Excellent property. Superb breakfast. Great location. Only issue was that the room was not quiet. We kept thinking the window was open hearing the street noise. We also had an adjoining door to our room to another room. You could hear absolutely everything, yes, absolutely everything. Unfortunate for the noise. Otherwise great place.

Excellent hotel in the last days of exterior painting and interior renovation. Staff couldn't have been nicer; our jr suite was on the corner and had three big windows. For our purposes (the Concertgrbouw, the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum) the location was ideal. Easy access to many tram lines as well
