Good stay with kind people, location is great, would stay again!

The bed is very comfortable. Mine was the top pest bed so it’s a bit inconvenient. One noteworthy thing is that the counter is not open 24 hrs so have to be careful when check in or check out.

Good for budget travel. Clean place with convenient location at the city centre

The service staff are very friendly and there are activities held several nights during the week. The location is very good, close to Albert Market, and the surrounding transportation is convenient. The indoor room will be darker and there will be plenty of hot water;)

The place is very clean and cute. Has a great garden. Good location close (15 min walk ish) to Van Gogh Museum area. The bed area only has 1 USB charger which is annoying (the room only had 2 normal plugs) Also they only sell locker locks, otherwise you leave your stuff outside. There is not really free breakfast per se but coffee, tee and apples free of charge. Staff are really nice.

We were pleasantly surprised! Our room was the Farm room - top floor (a lot of stairs and a good cardio workout! ;) ) it was nice and cosy with an en-suite. Nice and clean/comfy. Complimentary tea and coffee. Key code to get in and out. The hostel is well run and managed. Staff are polite and helpful. Check in and out smooth- just note, check out is 11am and check in after 4pm. (They offer free storage should you arrive early). They also have an outside, enclosed garden area, but a little neglected. Still, good to get air and smoke. Some small negatives: the noise! There are doing construction works across and below the apartment block. The site workers (I presume) starts at 7am… then you get woken with a high pitch noise that is continuous. (Even the ear plugs don’t drown the sound). Closing the windows reduce it somewhat, but with no other ventilation and no fan, it becomes unbearable. Some suggestions: mama, flip those mattresses! :) this keeps them lasting longer and ensure even wear/tear/comfort. I slept at the feet end as it was most comfy! It would be nice to have more coffee pods if staying longer than one day ). My husband did ask someone re more pods for the next day, but the lady didn’t comprehend what he was asking (and as it was already 10pm, we left it at that). Overall, good location and a pleasant stay!

We stayed in a private room and beside one of lights in the bathroom not working, it was a nice stay. The Hostel is quite conveniently located with the Tram 4 right in front of the main door. They have free coffee and tea in the rooms, which was well appreciated. The check-in and checkout was seamless and the digital keys are a good touch. If you're not a fan of small stairs, then remember to travel light.

Cocomama is a fantastic hostel. It's very easy to get to with a tram stop near the entrance. The staff were friendly and service was amazing. The rooms were a bit small with little storage areas. Similarly, the ensuite was small and prone to forming puddles. The common area has full kitchen facilities. Overall I definitely recommend staying at Cocomama.

Exactly what I wanted. Comfortable lounge area with quality linens. Bathrooms are nice. Very helpful team. Basic tea, coffee with communal fridge and cooking facilities available at the ground floor lounge area. Their team is very flexible.

really good reception and recommendations for amsterdam. checkin and checkout process is easy, rooms are clean (a bit small but to be excepted). there’s a garden outside which is really nice a common lounge with tea and coffee and fruit! would come here again

I really enjoyed my stay at Cocomama. It was super cozy, the staff were great and I loved that they had a cat ＜3 I liked that it's a super chill place and you can rest. The room was fine and the bed had a curtain and a really nice duvet. Two things to improve: -some of the lockers were broken (maladjusted) and even if you put the padlock, you could still open them. Because of this, someone was using the locker that belonged to my bed. -the other thing that would be nice to add is a little shelf on the bed, because I didn't have a place to put my phone while charging it at night.

I loved staying at this hostel. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, and the beds have plenty of room, as well as a light, an outlet, and a curtain. I made several friends while I was there, and went on excursions with the other guests. That's the best part about staying at a hostel - meeting people from all over the world who share your love of travel. And this hostel has that type of vibe/culture. Definitely recommend it!
