GGuest UserWe’ve stayed at this hotel for the last seven years, each time we go to Disneyland. It’s definitely cheaper than staying on the park’s property, and the walk is no more than 10 minutes. However, despite our family being loyal customers, we have stayed there for the last time, and won’t be returning. As I mentioned, yes, it’s cheaper to stay here than on Disneyland property, but don’t be fooled. It is by no means CHEAP, just CHEAPER. You are still paying quite a hefty price for what has, sadly, become a mediocre at best hotel. In all the years we’ve stayed here, the hotel, to my knowledge, has never been updated— and it shows. Unfortunately, the hotel is now on the shabby side. The rooms are small, as is the bathroom. Annoyingly, they no longer offer maid service each day, and have downgraded to once every third day. While I understand pandemic policies, we had JUST come from staying at the beautiful nearby Westin Anaheim, which does offer daily maid service. Next, a word on their air conditioning units. The last 2 times we’ve stayed, the units have been unbearably loud — so much so that at the height of summer, we opted to keep it off in order for us to be able to sleep. I asked to trade rooms, thinking we’d just gotten unlucky, but it seems each room has the identical problem. That goes back to the updates I feel the hotel needs to make. Lastly, unlike some of the other hotels nearby, there is no free continental breakfast. Look, Disneyland is expensive. A free breakfast would go a long way with guests. No need for it to be fancy— something small would suffice. As I mentioned, we also stayed at the Westin Anaheim this trip. It’s slightly more expensive, but it feels much more luxurious — and it’s nearly as quick to walk to the parks. That’ll be our choice from now on.
