A perfect hanok experience, a different kind of Korea. It's as if you're traveling...very good breakfast, very suitable for bringing children, parking space, and the Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk are very nice and enthusiastic. Next time you come to Korea, you must stay a few more days.

It was my second trip to Andong with a friend in more than 10 years, and the Chiamgotok hostel was really a god. Last time I stayed in Hahoe Village, Andong, and it was a pity that it took too long to move. Chiamgotak is close to Andong Station/Market (taxi ride 5-10 minutes), and the atmosphere was so good. Especially if you stay in the Hodo Jae Room, you can use the table space on the floor, and it was so nice to be able to talk and talk overlooking the party and the yard. The room size was small but not very inconvenient because it was a home, the toilet seemed to use the other room in the public toilet, but the hodojae room is separately inside the room. Of course the size is very small. It may be a bit uncomfortable to stay for a long time, but I would definitely recommend staying for a day if you have time.

It was very good to walk at night because it was attached to the bus stop and the restaurant street and there was a park right next to it.
It's also a good thing to have toast, cereal and popcorn in the morning.
But there is no elevator, so the downside is that you have to carry your luggage up.

CY ( 20.10.23 ) There was located in central area in Andong, I didn't check hotel review, so I was failed to choose hotel. I chose this hotel, the named ”hotel” and price, and I believed there was hotel. But there was just motel with motel price. I didn't understand why I pay more price thought online booking about 15%. So I asked staff why more expensive? The answer was simple, because of online booking fee. I think I was fooled. In this mood, I felt terrible on my Andong trip. If there introduced ”Motel” and same price online and offline, there was above normal reputation. But this two point made me there terrible hotel.

First of all, there is a supermarket near the dormitory. It's very good to have a beer after dinner. The staff upgraded the room for free when they checked in. It's originally a double bed. There are two king size beds. I entered a spacious room. The view was a nursing hospital view, but it was Netflix Du and there were all kinds of amenities, so it was enough to come to the body.
A hostel without real disadvantages! I thought it would be easy to find this quality accommodation again at 50,000 won line.

This is not a hotel, but a motel
I was stunned... I was angry, I was angry
And, I just went in, the motel in the distance was too dry.
I am sleeping and there will be a buzzing every few minutes.
They said it was a bathroom exhaust fan.

NNANIt’s called 해변모텔 in Korean. It is probably the cheapest hotel in Andong. The aunt is very kind, the TV is big, and the air conditioner is fierce. This is very worth the money. Andong Roast Chicken is quite delicious, I recommend everyone to try it.

I stayed in room 506, but I didn't have a battery, so I locked the door manually. And I got a message saying that the TV remote control was insufficient. ㅋㅋㅋ I think it's insufficient management. It's clean. I recommend it. When I open the window, the sound of sparrows is not a joke. The windows are half blocked. Next to the blocked place, sparrows are building houses and living. It's great to see the cute sparrows close to each other.
