Rental basis: Entire house or apartment Number of bedrooms: 3; Number of other rooms with beds: 0 Chalet Aurora, suitable for six people, is located in the harbor of Oostmahorn and has spectacular views and access to the Lauwersmeer. In front of the door is a parking space for up to 2 vehicles. From the living room and one of the bedrooms you look directly over the water. There are three bedrooms, two with a double bed of 180x200 and the other with a bed of 140x200. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, coffee machine and dishwasher. The bathroom has a shower, sink with washing machine. The toilet is separate and has a sink. The fenced garden of the chalet cannot be seen from the street. (Surroundings:) Oostmahorn is an old stronghold at the at the western side of the Lauwerslake with a rich history, dating back to the sixteenth century. Nowadays it’s a very pleasant tourist destination at the National Park Lauwersmeer, hosting several holiday resorts. The lake itself and the direct surroundings are a true paradise for nature lovers, fisherman, water sports enthusiasts, cyclists and hikers. Dogs are more than welcome here as well. There’s a special beach and a forest for them at Lauwersoog. Within a couple of hundreds of meters there are several playgrounds for children. At the beach, in the small resort ‘de Skâns’ and in Esonstad - which is a holiday resort build as a replica of a typical old Frysian city. In Esonstad you’ll even find a bouncy castle and an indoor playing hall and one can play golf and foot golf here at the local Pitch & Putt area. Renting a bicycle or e-chopper is also possible here. In Esonstad you can easily do your daily groceries (a bigger supermarkt is just a couple of kilometers away in Anjum) or find a restaurant, pizzeria or a snackbar. Another three restaurants are even closer to your holiday house. Some of them offer spectacular lake views.
