The hotel is so bad that almost no one can speak English. The aircon is so rubbish and many customers complain about it

I woke up with back pain because of the beds. I was told that the room I booked here was without air conditioning. Is it possible to have a room without air conditioning in the middle of summer in this day and age!!! They charged +300 TL for an air conditioned room. The room they gave me has an old air conditioner and the worst part is, THE BED IS OLD AND COLLAPSED, I COULDN'T SLEEP AND NOW I WOKE UP WITH A BACK PAIN. :(( This is literally making people fools. When selling the economy room, it was not stated that it was without air conditioning. It both reduced my trust in this site and It is usurping human rights.

In a very good location, we did not have any sound complaints, it was very comfortable, we rested very well. There were only hairs left on the towels, and I expected it to be cleaner and more hygienic on the sheets as well. Other than that, I recommend it as f/p.

Do not trust photos of hotel on expedia.ca or ***********, they are false and misleading, as false as they can be. Rooms are shown huge in the pictures however when we entered the room we had to find a place to stack our luggage at one spot. Walking through the room was as effort since its so tight. The room had cigarette smoke stink. The washroom had a bad smell. The washroom fan did not work. Requested to switch our room but answer was a usual one that do not have rooms since we are fully booked. The room had mosquitos and flies in it. Staff come to the room to spray the washroom but it made it worst. All three of us started coughing. A typical feeling in this hotel that you are not welcome. We reached hotel at around 3:00 pm after driving for 4 hours, were booked for 2 nights. Wanted to see the city and visit some museums. Requested staff to give us a map of the city and show us the points of interest. Out of 4 none of them spoke English. Translated our request through google. They were very rude and did not help at all. Planning to cut my trip short in Ankara and move out of this room in the morning. Had a terrible experience booking this hotel. They charge you full room price but do not deliver as promised.

UK Ankara is a bit dated but we still liked its retro design. Our business corner room was huge and had a balcony. The bathroom is OK: the fixed showerhead was a bit uncomfortable though. The parking is very small (enough for 5 cars at most) and access is very tight, so it is best to leave the car in front of the hotel and ask for a valet parking. Breakfast was buffet-style with sufficient choices. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a nice location but the streets around it are rather steep. If you suddenly crave for pizza, you can get a tasty one at Pizzaci Altan, 2 blocks north of the hotel.

It has been one of the worst hotels that I've ever been in. Rooms were dirty, staff are rude and cheap, and even the receptionist can't speak english. Overall its teribble. There has been hair in my sheets and towels and the room itself is not clean.

I have booked online for one week stay in Ankara , I chose this hotel for it's location and price , I liked the pictures of the hotel it looked nice and neat, I came and I enjoyed my stay here, staff were friendly and helpful , breakfast was perfect, even during Ramadan they provided us with a meal for( Sohoor) , internet was good , service was good , they take care of everything and care about customers satisfaction , I extended my booking due to my work and my papers for residence ,they helped me a lot in every single meaning. I highly recommend the hotel for it's location and price and services for people who are looking for short residence for work and business, I really felt like family and in my home country.:) Special thanks goes to Mr Cihan the general manager and Mr Umit the owner for the efforts they did to help me getting my work done .

We booked our suite direct with the hotel and then found it was cheaper on line. The reception staff were disinterested once we had checked in. Waiting times for the single lift were up to 8 minutes and customers as well as many staff were not adhering to the COVID rules posted in the hotel. We did not eat the breakfast on either of the two days we stayed - the first visit to the breakfast restaurant was 50 minutes before closing and there was hardly any food left. After complaining to the hotel manager and arriving earlier for breakfast the next day, there was a little more food available, but it was unappealing. We went out to local restaurants for breakfast on both days. We booked a suite as we wanted a larger room than the standard double room. In it there was a very large and comfortable bed, one dining type chair, one armchair, small coffee table, large TV, tea/coffee making facilities and two bottles of water provided. The small balcony had one broken chair on it. The shower room was clean and had a very good large shower. There was no written information available,in any language in the room, including telephone numbers for reception. This was the worst of the 3 hotels we stayed in in Ankara and the most expensive!

Ankarada kalabileceğiniz bir otel. İş seyahatiydi .Otel eski ama giriş kısmı ve lobi güzel dekore edilmiş yenilenmişti. Oda temiz ama bakıma ihtiyacı vardı yeniden elden geçmesi gerekiyor. Kahvaltı iyiydi. Çalışanlar güler yüzlü ve eksik ve sorunlarda yardımcı oluyorlardı.

4 Kişilik arkadaşlar halinde gittiğimiz UK Ankara Hotel çalışanlarına gösterdikleri ilgi ve samimiyetlerinden dolayı tek tek teşekkür ediyorum.Açık büfe kahvaltısı tek kelimeyle harikaydı. Beklentimin üstünde bir hizmet vardı.Ankaradaki yeni evimiz uUKankara hotel. İyi çalışmalar görüşmek üzere :)
