Holiday Inn Express & Suites des Moines - Ankeny

The woman at the desk 4pm 3/11/23 was wonderful. Water pressure was weak like other reviews said but nothing I would be a “Karen” about. The kiddos enjoyed the pool. We stayed one night but I would book again for sure!

Kelsey was delightful when we checked in late. The hotel is very new and very clean. Everything and I mean everything was very clean and fresh. We slept great. I LOVED that we had ample towels in our room! I am so thankful! I hate hotels that ration our towels. If I had one complaint and it’s minor, I am light sensitive and the flashing light of the smoke alarm or sprinkler was annoying and did wake me from time to time.

This property is super clean and the staff are very friendly. Located near EVERYTHING you could possibly want or need. Good free breakfast and hot coffee! !

Love brightness and fresh decor

We never stayed there, a terrible snowstorm csme in and we were unable to travel. Called to see about a refund or credit snd the answer was no because it was a non-refundable purchase. There was no compromise

There was almost no snow removal in the parking lot and i has to be careful where i parked so that my car would not be stuck in the snow. There was no snow removal even under the car port or sidewalk. The snow was from the night before and it had been packed down. The bed was not very tidy and the bed skirt was slightly off on one side. The sheets and mattress pad where not smooth. The snack shop had minimal options and no beer or wine. The window heater was noisy and it woke me up every time it came on. On a different note, the breakfast bar was well stacked and very good.
