Booked a room 3 months ago for two nights to stay for the NASCAR race that was nearby. Got checked in, went to what we thought would be our room, but somebody was already in it. Went back down to the front desk and they sent us to their other location 2 miles away. The front desk had no idea who we were, why we were there, and didn't have a reservation for us in the system. We were told both hotels were completely full and they couldn't do anything for us. We were left to find a room which most hotels in the area were sold out or had extremely high prices due to the race. I booked this room 3 months ago with credit card points. The room we ended up booking to replace this one was nearly $500, an expense we did not plan for. I am demanding that my credit card points be refunded and to be completely reimbursed for the hotel room that we had to book at a different location. I will never stay at an Extended Stay ever. This is hands down the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life.
