Opened the curtains to discover a giant rooftop air conditioner 8' from our suite's window. It was literally all you could see. It was so unpleasant that we actually had a good laugh about it, but between the noise and lack of natural light I would've switched rooms if staying for more than a night. Less amusing was returning late to discover that the living room area lacked any light source, leaving the space so dim that we couldn't really use it. (We later learned that there's supposed to be a floor lamp in that space, ours was missing for some reason.) A pretty disappointing experience for the price, but others in our group said their rooms were fine. Just be sure to ask for a street-facing room.

Love the rooms. Everything seemed clean. Free breakfast was great. Location was perfect. Only downside was they have no parking so you have to park in the nearby parking garage and they do not validate parking. So you have to pay to park.

This hotel was really clean, conveniently located, and the front desk person knew all the answers to my questions. The room was comfortable and the bed nice. I like everything about this hotel. Inexpensive parking was right down the street and the breakfast was set up on time.

Great location, friendly staff and a clean, modern lobby and breakfast area. The rooms are in desperate need of refirb-at least on the 3rd floor. Our room hadn’t been cleaned properly in a long while, mold in the shower, thick dust on all baseboards, dirty carpet. For the cost of this hotel I expected better.

Stayed in June 2024 for our daughter's wedding, with a block of rooms. The location of the hotel was really perfect, right downtown and walkable to tons of restaurants, bars, etc. I would highly recommend! From the moment we arrived, all staff were very friendly and helpful. Tracey checked me in with extra care knowing I was the MOB! Rooms were very comfortable and clean, love the mini-kitchens and full-size fridge. We reserved a conference room to host a small brunch and that is where they shined! David Z truly went above and beyond to help with anything I needed, whether it was more ice buckets, adjusting lighting or finding an additional tables. Every time I popped out to ask yet another favor/question, he was incredibly friendly and kind as well as helpful. What a delight he is and made our morning successful! I would highly recommend!

Stayed on a business trip. Nice location close ton downtown and University, a lot of good restaurants in the area. Room was spacious, modern, well equipped, clean. All the staff I have met was very friendly, offering help. They also have a (smaller) gym. but for Residence Inn relatively well equipped gym. Overall, positive experience.
