Hotels near University of Michigan - North Campus, Ann Arbor

地理位置優越在安娜堡大學體育館正對面，安全，可以圍繞體育館跑步一圈大約一公里。房間屬於現代簡約風格裝修，開敞式廚房與卧室相連。佈局大面積。衞生間去掉了不實用的浴缸，空間較大氣，但沒隔斷的洗澡間我不是很喜歡。有個最大問題是樓板比較薄，走重點就感覺樓板在動。其他的都比較好的。

Hotel location is good, 15 minutes drive to the University of Michigan, there is a mall around 1 km, there are restaurants, and supermarkets, where the noodle world and Mexican food are good, the front parking lot is free, the breakfast is simple American, can eat. The hotel is cleaned.

The hotel was quite clean, there was no elevator, and two large boxes were on the second floor. Like an upgraded version of the motel, but the room is very comfortable, the bed is big, the quilt is very soft and comfortable!

The air conditioning sound is too loud. Most American hotels are cabinet air conditioners. They are placed on the floor below the window and the sound is too loud. Parking is also available for a fee. Close to Northwestern University, the environment is good

We have family In Ann Arbor and we’ve bee staying here once 2014. It’s usually pretty good. Those days are over… at least for now. I imagine we’ll be back, but I won’t be happy about it. So we’re here again. Last time here my husband pointed out that they were in the middle of replacing all the outside balconies that were badly rusted and this was probably a very expensive repair so they may be waiting to get that done before they start redoing the rooms. Well, they seem to just about finished their balcony/walkway project, but haven’t gotten to the rooms themselves. Relatively clean, unless you looked under of behind things - like the phone or a lamp. The tub is cracked, the furniture is beat up - scarred, nicked, warped tops, etc. , but the linens and towels were nice. It was a good mattress and the room was clean - mostly. The carpet was vacuumed, but badly stained. The tv remote only sometimes worked and we couldn’t get any sound on the only channel we wanted to watch: ESPN.

We had a fantastic stay here. The staff was amazing and even during a pandemic the wedding was beautiful. Leah was amazing and helpful. Really enjoyed Meg at the front desk and the General manager was willing to help us with anything. Such a blessing to find this fabulous hotel for the wedding and rehearsal dinner. All of these positive reviews are shocking to me, definitely planted for sure. I stayed on this property when it was the Candlewood a few years ago and it was ok. Just got back from there and it has REALLY gone downhill. Checked in, went up to my room and it smelled like stale cigarettes and bad decisions, went back down to the desk and the clerk immediately changed my room. she was the best part of my stay, very pleasant and trying hard to help me. She walked up with me and agreed that the room smelled. She walked me to the new room and it smelled better. After being there a few minutes alone and looking around, I realized that this was NOT going to be good. The phone was not plugged in and there was no where to plug it in. The dishwasher door was broken and there were dirty dishes in it. The chairs were ripped and had food stains, the refrigerator was old and dirty made a very startling loud clunking noise when it powered off. the cheap coffee pot was broken and unusable, there was popcorn and filth under the couch that looks like it been there for a LONG time. The clock wasn't set to the right time in the bedroom. it was very dusty, dirt in the drawers, hair in the tub, chairs ripped and food stains on them, nothing was replenished, no body wash, soap, extra towels, dish soap, NOTHING. It looked like it was a quick ”flush and dust” ( Barely) after the last guest. I headed down to the front desk to see if I can at least get some supplies (I passed an old sock on the floor in the hallway, which remained there for my entire stay) and I saw a housekeeper along the way, I thought maybe I can ask her for what I need, I said hello and she IGNORED ME! I continued down to the desk, was telling the clerk what I needed and I heard a voice coming from the back yelling to have the housekeeper go up and make it right. I then asked for the manager, she came out and the first thing out of her mouth was I gave you a discount for one night of your stay because you weren't happy. I told her that I didn't want the discount I just wanted to tell her about what was wrong and she may want to consider training the staff better, she was very ”Canned” in her responses telling me that they are rated up in the 90s, its a great property, the staff is amazing and she was very sorry, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. She said there was a long term guest that stayed before me (SO I guess that's a good excuse?!) I asked her to come up to the room and see for herself because i didn't want to ”Be that girl” and just complain and she completely ignored my requested and wanted to send her housekeeper up to make it right, but I had to tell her if I wanted her to go up fast because she was leaving for the day!( The one with the attitude that totally ignored me when I tried to approach her on the way down? No thank you) The manager was so snarky and phony, When I realized that she would be ZERO help to me I respectfully thanked her and wished her a good day, she yelled no YOU HAVE A GOOD DAY, as I

Absolutely love the staff here! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is great. The attendant does a good job at switching out utensils frequently and is always wiping tables and chairs down. The pool is big and always warm! The cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. There was a guy who was even shampooing the carpets in the hallway! That is not something you see every day. It got me thinking about how dirty other hotel hallway carpets are. Love the fall decorations out front. Great touch! I definitely will stay here whenever I am in Ann Arbor and will be recommending to all my friends and family as well!

Needed to book six rooms for our team, and Nader Judeh was extremely helpful and flexible. What was the extra mile is he was there to introduce himself and make sure the experience was perfect, by offering tips for other services in the future and also knowing what other teams were there to help with dinner areas. Check in was seamless and easy and Mark at the front desk was very helpful. In addition, I made a mishap and cancelled a room by oversight and Mark did everything he could to assist me during a ”sold out” hotel. He went above and beyond to find me another room and get it cleaned quickly. Along with being very kind during my stressful moment. When others step up to provide great customer service it is memorable. The rooms were clean, and very nice as I was able to compare five rooms. Great Hotel!!
