Service was not good, no have lift facilities, food was very week.

Super far a way from every thing very dirty!

Nice clean room unfortunately the toilet seat was broken there and no one spoke english. Unfortunately, the sheets and towels were not changed, we stayed here for 4 days, a clean bathroom where you always have to ask for toilet paper. Breakfast was very mediocre and you had almost no choices, there was only tea and no other drink.

Very basic room door didn't lock bedsheets not clean. Both shower and toilet leaked . Workmen carrying out work as no light on landings and hallways. Most staff pleasant however offered to pay daily amount for accommodation reception guy insisted pay when you leave then tried to charge me extra days and services like mini bar which were never used. Took cash and put in his pocket on final day I called Tourism police who insisted he returned the money that he had pocketed for nights I hadn't stayed. Spoilt my trip to Turkey not honest or genuine hotel that puts customers first.

This is a very basic hotel, no frills. Which is ok if that is what you are after. I stayed here once and was booked to stay again. Unfortunately, the hotel decided to overbook, leaving me without a room, having to search around for an alternate hotel at night. They gave me no warning whatsoever and only found out when I arrived to check in. Extremely poor way to treat guests - especially returning guests. My advice, if you book a hotel room and expect for that to be honored, don't book at Gunduz Otel.

The hotel is good for its price category. The shortcomings of a rather weak breakfast buffet and a small number of outlets were compensated by the responsiveness of the hotel staff. The maid always said hello and, upon request, cleaned the room, changed towels, soap, etc. Interestingly, as soon as you gave a little tip, a shower mat appeared in the bathroom, which helped prevent the water from spreading. Among the staff, Kadir was very helpful, especially in those matters that were not within his responsibilities and the competence of the hotel in particular. For example, he helped us purchase plane and bus tickets, despite the commission and other difficulties, and at the time of check-out he kindly offered to help with our luggage - he offered to give us a ride. Realizing that we had already taken advantage of his kindness unnecessarily, we refused and went to the bus stop, but soon the hotel owner caught up with us in his car and offered us a ride (probably at Kadir’s request). Separately, we should highlight the boy from the servants and the second bearded/shaved one, who, despite not knowing foreign languages, tried their best to help at any time of the day and prepared milk for coffee and cut melon. Also a wonderful small market on Thursdays next to the hotel added positivity. The hotel rooms are cozy and smoking is allowed. There is a small swimming pool on site. Overall, the hotel left a positive impression thanks to the very friendly, helpful and hospitable staff.
