Radisson Tamboho Waterfront Antananarivo Reviews

Not recommended, the reason is that it is far from the tourist attractions, the price/performance ratio is not high, many hotels in Tana are under the name of Radisson 😸, the whole East Africa, Radisson franchise stores are everywhere, but this Radisson is located in the suburbs, I have lived in the Radisson apartment in the old town, it is within walking distance to the tourist attractions, this one is a bit far, you have to take a taxi, and to be honest, I don't think it is special, it is more than 100 yuan expensive for no reason, more importantly: the free airport shuttle is nonsense, nonsense, nonsense 😭😭, just take a taxi yourself, emails are not replied, you have to call to book a pick-up, the price is twice that of the airport taxi, more locals come, the reason is that there is a cinema next to it, suitable for weekends, after all, locals don't go to tourist attractions 😭

Quiet, safe and convenient

Clean, good service, suitable for travel, feeling relatively relaxed, it is possible to come here in the Maldives Islands

I went to TAMBOHO both for breakfast and for some business lunch meetings. Can someone please agree they got some of the best pizzas and club sandwiches in town? Prices are a bit high but maaaaan, it's so worth it. Even just breakfast, super good. We had a full breakfast and we had enough to share it. (And as a souvenir, I still have got the two jam jars I got from there, SO CUTE.)

Great room and amazing breakfast BUT the king size bed i had was not a true king size. It was 2 single mattresses next to each other and i kept waking up every time i rolled over the seam/crack. Further more there was no water bottle provided in the room (free or payable). Given that it is a common practice observed everywhere else i went in Madagascar, i did not question the reception about it. However, the next morning, on my way to check out, i saw staff with a large supply of reusable water bottles for the rooms, so it seems mine was forgotten or not included for the price range of my room.,

Was really impressed with this place. It’s a little cheaper than the big Radison up the road, which is perhaps fancier but felt a little sterile. The rooms here were large and had some personality, while the food was really good, the staff friendly, and the whole place very stylish.

I have absolutely nothing bad to talk about this hotel. Location is very convenient, room is very comfortable, service is great, price is very reasonable. I had a wonderful stay here after traveling in Madagascar for one week and it was a nice rest.

Simply a great hotel ! They have wonderful staff with great attitude and professionalism. Im a frequent business traveler and it's the first time that a hotel staff proposed me the Radisson Reward with lots of goodies. Like at it's sister hotel the Radisson Blu, I had to teach them to make strong tea. They surely got it right afterwards 😁. Not much to improve except the internet connection and the horizontal (😂) nozzle of the bathroom soap holders.

This morning's breakfast was fantastic. Unlike many Antananarivo hotels, there are various options and friendly staff (all of whom greeted and smiled at us...). Nice location, lovely view, and bird singing

I decided to change hotel for safety issues and was very pleased with my choice. The hotel is in a complex with very good security levels. Rhe staff and the hotel were faultless. Management were so apologetic when a false fire alarm went off at 00.40 a.m. One improvement however would be sun lounges rather than deck chairs. Increasing numbers as some days the day visitors to the pool took over the pool preventing residents to soak up the sun or use the pool

Excellent well appointed accommodation, with very good lighting, plus plenty of space in the bathroom around the sink/basin. Comfortable beds meant for a very good sleep. Close to shopping mall with grocery store and ATM.

The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the staff was absolutely wonderful and welcoming, always ready with a smile. I really enjoyed my stay. I thought the area where the hotel is situated was quite good.

The water of the waterfront is a rice paddy, but nevertheless well situated. Staff very friendly.
