Hôtel la Villa Port d'Antibes & Spa

While everything was quite nice, somehow I don’t feel like raving about it. Maybe because compared with the experience, the price wasn’t good value. Lack of amenities. Lack of sense of hospitality. Also my room, although upgrade to a “junior suite?”, was north facing which was quite a bummer. I want the sun!

This is a very good hotel located on the outskirts of the Port Vauban are of Old Antibes. It is therefore very well situated. Our room was good, if small. Nicely decorated and immaculate. The staff are very friendly and attentive. It’s a classy choice. I would have given a five out of five but for two things:- 1. Breakfast is overpriced if you simply order it on the day. It is ok, but 22 Euros per person is overpriced for what it is. Better value options are available nearby. 2. The pool area is underwhelming. To be fair, the hotel has done the best it can with the very limited area available, but the pool is an odd shape and very small. Likewise, the sunbathing deck area is also very small. These are minor quibbles. Overall, this is a very good hotel. I intend to return.

We had an excellent two day stay at this hotel. Everyone was helpful and kind. It is located less than 5 minute walk to Old Town which is very large. Breakfast was great. Rooms were great. We would stay at this hotel again. Restaurants are close.

We stayed here for eight nights during August of 2024. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and this hotel did not disappoint. The staff were phenomenal especially the younger gentleman who was in training. We ran into him walking toward old town and he even recognized us and wished us a pleasant evening of exploring. The location is perfect. Its about 10 min walk to the train station. A 5 min walk to Old Town and the port. We walked everywhere. We had drinks and tapas nightly at the bar that was just down the sidewalk. The hotel is spotless. We spent nearly every afternoon relaxing at the pool. The breakfast buffet in the morning was delightful. Both my wife and I commented it will be hard going back to the standard continental breakfast served at most American hotels after having the breakfast each morning here. Our only issue was we didn't realize in order for the lights to work in our room you need to place a keycard in the holder by the door. It took us about 10 mins to figure that out. Perhaps this is more common in European hotels and we were unaware of this practice. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others planning a trip to Antibes.

We've stayed here a few times in the last couple of years, winter and summer. Beds are comfy, rooms quite spacious, staff outstanding. Lovely bar and lounge area. V cosy in winter, All in all, very welcoming, especially if you;re on your own - which I was a few times. We've never been tempted to try any other hotel in Antibes. Just one thing I'd appreciate; softer bed linen. It's a bit scratchy for me... I much a finer feel.

Efficient staff. Welcoming and friendly. Good location if you are traveling by train. An easy walk from the station with our bags. We had a 5th floor room with a small balcony and view of the marina. Sometimes the rooms were late to be cleaned, after 3.00pm The breakfasts were good and there was everything you would expect. Constantly refreshing. Unfortunately, there was an event taking place on the square, and the loud music played until after 1am in the morning. This was not the hotels fault but did give 2 poor nights sleep
