Very close proximity to the transport hub to north part of Tianchi. Metered taxi to the Tianchi gathering centre costs only 6rmb! Room is real nice. Receptionists are humble and approachable and very helpful. The walk way along the that areas is very nicely decorated. Not much of the foot traffic, good place for family vacation. Serenity! Carpet to the rooms need shampooing, otherwise, perfecto! Will not hesitate to recommend friends and relatives to this place!

The hotel is not right on the street, so I wouldn't recommend it if you have heavy luggage. Other than that, the staff are friendly and there's a lot of Korean food around. KFC is nearby, and there are many safe places to have a drink at night. If you walk a little, the city bus to Baekdusan Station costs 1 yuan. It's the basic taxi fare to the entrance of Bukpa in the morning. There are almost no amenities or facilities.

The drive to Snow Ridge is long and it is not possible to complete a comfortable tour in half a day. We recommend the Edelweiss Reindeer Park near the hotel. The one-and-a-half-day itinerary was perfectly arranged so that the itinerary was not compact and comfortable. I extended my stay the next day and stayed for two consecutive days. The hotel is in a good location, very close to the town center, the rooms are big and quite cheap. But there is a barbecue restaurant downstairs, which is a bit noisy. I checked in at 6pm and there was a constant buzzing sound outside the east side room on the second floor. I could hear it clearly even with the window closed. The front desk said that the exhaust sound of the barbecue restaurant downstairs stopped at about 10pm. I didn't know when it stopped until I fell asleep. The bed was covered with a thin mattress, and I was woken up by the cold in the middle of the night. I filled a hot water bottle and stayed up until dawn.
