The room was small, but it was new, cleaned properly and the accommodation fee was reasonable. The staff also kindly consulted me with restaurant information. I think it is perfect as a business hotel. The location was far from the station, but it was convenient because it was close to the pleasure town. Wifi was also very comfortable early.

A dated Retro Inn, one building by itself. My impression on the 1st day upon checked in was very disappointing. However, after 4 nights there, the image improve and like it there. At least 10 to 15mins walk from Aomori JR train station. Hotel is still using the manual keys, tap water we need to adjust manually to reach a acceptable temperature we want. I cannot see any CCTV in the corridor of guest room. This really worries me. Lights were too dim, very depressing. Rooms are small with odd spaces. We are able to make use of the odd spaces to put our luggage. Bath/toilets are even smaller. And usually we can smell a sewage smell in the bath room. What impress us is that though it is an old dated inn, Hotel has facilities for washing machine at 300 yen and dryer at 100 yen per 30 minutes. Japanese breakfast included was delicious and nutritious. Staff are always humble and friendly and informative. We can go to the lobby for coffee and bread (on the house) between 3 to 10pm. Rooms are clean and as days passed we forgot about the old property as staff are all cheerful and makes us happy. If hotel did not provide free breakfast, then the rate paid may not be worth for this hotel. I would only recommend this hotel to someone who needs breakfast and has a male companion and vigilant person.

5th time from last June. Yuan 々, super hotel is small but small, beautiful, the table is large, the best room to work in the room. Aomori is a small city, and the Aomori Center Hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the train station, and seafood market. The entrance to the hotel is located on a back street so if you are coming on your own, it may be a bit hard to find. Plus the hotel reception is located on the second floor of an old building, and the entrance does not look like a hotel at all. Free coffee is available at the lobby though. Check in was smooth. The staff explained the hotel info to us, the public bath, the restaurant, the amenities, etc. We have the corner room which has a window on both side of the room. The hotel is a bit dated as mentioned by other guests. But given the relatively low price tag and convenient location, it is still a good choice for many people. The room has most the of facilities you need, TV, air conditioning control, kettle, mini fridge, a couch, and the bed is quite big and comfy. The onsen located on the second floor is one of the selling point of the hotel. Outsiders can pay to enjoy the onsen as well. There are also a canteen style restaurant which closes at 10:00pm, offers a variety of dishes at a reasonable price. Breakfast is offered at the same restaurant in a buffet style, with quite a variety of choice and drinks. When in Aomori, free flow of apple juice is not to be missed.

The overall experience is very good. 1. The Japanese-style room faces the snow-capped mountains. The room is not big, but it can still open two 28-inch boxes. 2. This hotel is very convenient to go up to the snow mountain. The cable car is very close. 3. The food in the hotel is very good. Aomori’s local cuisine is highly recommended. Make an appointment in advance. The breakfast is also very rich. The quality is very good. 4. It is very suitable for professional skiers 5. The hot springs are also great. Although the hot springs are relatively small, the water quality is really good. I have experienced several hot springs this time, and this one is the best. But the pool is a bit slippery, so be careful. 6. The waiter has limited English, but he is very good to the guests. thank you.

I decided to come all the way from Tokyo to this location near Aomori in the middle of some heavy heavy snowfall and snow blizzards. Thankfully, the Ryokan is literally in front of the train station. This was very helpful in the middle of a white out snow blizzard. Expect this kind of weather in northern Aomori in mid-December. The train station Asamushi Onsen on the Aomori Railway is fairly straightforward to access from Aomori Station and brings you to the Ryokan fairly easily. There isn't a big sign which would have been helpful during a snow blizzard. Check-in was fairly easy , even with no Japanese, the lady understood the important basic things required for simple check in I needed to know. I had asked for an ”ocean” view when booking and that was the best part really.. amazing view of Mutsu Bay from the room. The room was a really really big tatami floored room for just one. Nice softbeds, some loose matcha green tea leaves and tea set/kettle. Despite the spacious room, almost no space between ends of beds and cheap wardrobe. Kind of just shoved in there. TV and Japanese dining table although I didn't use them. And an Aomori Apple cake of some description to welcome, nice touch. Really annoying noisy air conditioner / heater, although managed to turn off the ”swing” function that kept me awake. Reception had a nice log fire, but it's a kind of dark and creepy place. I guess there's not much happening here in mid-winter. Here was the onsen. Pretty standard bathing facility is you're familiar with these kinds of onsen. No view so nothing special or noteworthy to write. Had to use it as the room had no bathroom. I didn't eat meals here so cannot comment. The location is excellent, near some places to buy food and the other onsens and places of interest all nearby. I wonder if they need to update one or two things as it does feel kind of outdated but for the price and size of room, cannot complain.

This hotel is a hotel or not, close to the ceremony when visiting, the price is high, see the location and price, decided to live in this, stayed for two nights, the following are its advantages and disadvantages: Advantages: Very close to Aomori Station, about 3 minutes walk, soon to the B&B as soon as the station, There are many shops to eat, drink and buy nearby, and the location is quiet and very good. Disadvantages: My room was assigned to the third floor, no elevator, it was quite tired to climb the third floor with luggage, and the bathroom only has the first floor, that is, the bath has to run up and down, some trouble. After about 9 o'clock in the evening, the sign lights will be turned off. I almost couldn't find the road when I came back one night. The alley was dark and the single women were afraid of some danger. Overall, this homestay is very good. If you want to save money and need convenience, it is definitely a good choice to come to Aomori accommodation.

It was good that the room was clean. The location was also very good, so it was convenient. I want to stay next time.

We booked 3 single rooms for our party. The staff were polite all round and very considerate. Checking in and out was easy. The rooms were very roomy and clean with a decent view of the cityscape and the surrounding neighbourhood :) Like most of the hotels we stayed at in this trip amentites were on the botton floor for all patrons (shampoo, conditioner and body soap are already in the bathrooms) which included serums, razors, hairbrushes, coffee and tea. Breakfast was included and tasted delicious though it is . The hotel is about a 8min walk from the closest bus stop and about a 15min walk from the shoreline where we stumbled upon a Music Festival. It is also within walking distance to many attractions including the Nebuta museum as well as the shopping district, markets, izakayas and cute cafes htough these may be up to 20mins walk. Price was fair considering how late we booked and the prices of other hotels in the area.
