Hotels near JR Aomori Station, Aomori

The hotel locates on a major road with restaurants and shops. It is close to the JR Aomori Station with 5 minutes walk. However as the hotel’s reception counter was located on 3 floor, it was easy to miss the entrance of the hotel by the road side. There were also convineance stores such as FamilyMart and Lawson nearby. The hotel is a basic one and the room is small. But the bathroom was quite big. It is recommended base on the location and cleaniless, especially when concerning the price.

The hotel is around 6 minutes of walking distance to Aomori station. However, there is an airport coach station across the street of the property, making it easier for travellers to go there and drop ofd heavy luggage. Hotel is clean, staff are courteous and helpful. Though slightly a bit expensive during the Sakura full bloom week, will certainly come back to stay at this hotel. The room was large and they put an extra bed, so I was able to spend a relaxing time with three family members. The lights are as bright as ordinary homes and the table lamps are as bright as learning lamps. The bathroom was spacious, clean overall and no shortage of amenities. The location is just a short walk from Yanagimachi by bus from the airport. There are also plenty of Japanese, Western and Chinese + Tony Rome restaurants (you can buy a great meal ticket at the hotel) in the hotel building, and there are bakery and Lawson, so it is really convenient. There is a popular soba restaurant called Kakizaki next door, but unfortunately it was reserved. There seems to be a lot of restaurants in the area, so I don't think you will have any trouble eating without going to the station.

We stayed for one night for a relative's visit. There was no discomfort even on a single woman trip, the room, bed, bathroom, everything was relaxing, clean and tidy. The restaurant at dinner was a bit cold, but the quality and quantity of the dishes, the courtesy of the employees, all were good. It is about 15 minutes walk from goshogawara station, and the road is easy to understand. This time, the hotel sunroute near the station was full, so it was a second choice but I was satisfied.

Simple, no frills, comfortable ryokan set in a very secluded beautiful narrow wooded valley with a rushing stream outside the windows. Be aware: the smell of paraffin from the lamps is unmistakable, pervasive, catches in your throat, and your clothes will smell of it after you have left. Having got that out of the way, everything else is makes it a really special experience. There is no wifi, phone signal, no television, so you can slow down, relax and appreciate the onsen and the nature surrounding you. The meals were healthy and delicious, featuring fresh foraged ingredients. You will not go hungry. We requested vegetarian meals a few days in advance. Eating the meal in the tatami dining room in the lamplight and watching the light fading outside was beautiful. You will make up your own futons and there are shared toilet and tooth cleaning facilities. Everything is spotlessly clean. There are several baths: two with a view of a delicate waterfall, which are not very hot, so good for summer, a mixed sex rotemburo with times for women only, an ofuro in the main building, and 2 cypress baths in a cypress building with a view of the river, and the water is gloriously hot. Plus an outdoor footbath. All are lit with atmospheric lanterns. There is a car park a short walk up the hill from the ryokan. The old wooden main building is full of character and decorated with items of local folk art. There are some small areas of garden planted with native plants near the entrance, but the rest of the surroundings are just the area's flora and fauna.

Comfy, close to trains and some local restaurants. Friendly staff, who didn't mind communicating through google translate. Nice little restaurant in the hotel. Head chef was very attentive and took the time to try to advise on dishes. Took a while to get to the word , venison, about one dish, but we got there in the end.

We stayed for 2 nights from April 19 just before the Sakura Festival. 15400 yen. Take the Dote Cho circulation bus of 100 yen from Hirosaki station, get off at the blue silver Dote Cho branch, and it is very convenient in front of you. It is an old but large hotel with a single facility and a wedding hall. However, the bathtub is super narrow, and if you don't sit in the gym, you have to put it in, and if you try to catch it to your shoulder, you have to enter the sea cucumber. It is a washlet but it is a cold toilet seat. ＷＩＦＩ was difficult to connect and troubled by time. There is one electric stand on the desk, but it is dark because there is no light on the ceiling, and I borrowed one more.

Very good hotel! The front desk staff is very enthusiastic. My friend left his glasses here, so I helped to mail them. The staff helped to check the address and even wrote the mailing slip for me. I was so touched! The room is also very good. I was given a corner room with two large windows to see the scenery. It's so beautiful! The breakfast is also good, just average. All the attractions are within walking distance. The two barbecue restaurants opposite the hotel are good, and I personally recommend Niku no Takumi. There is also a yakitsu restaurant. The uncle is very kind and the yakitsu is delicious. There is a free bus to the station, and you can make an appointment one day in advance. The driver uncle helps with the luggage. In July, when the weather was beginning to get quite hot in Tokyo, we decided to escape the heat and crowds by spending a few days in Aomori. We wanted a nice hotel, off the beaten path, while being a place which wasn’t too hard to get to. After looking at what was available in Aomori, we decided to try the Oirase Keiryu hotel, which is located about 7 miles from Towada lake. This area is famous for its forests and natural scenery, its numerous streams, waterfalls, and wildlife. Access to Amori is easy, we took the Tohoku Shinkansen (bullet train) from Tokyo Station to Hachinohe, which takes under 3 hours. From Hachinohe we rented a car from the Times Rental Car which is almost in front of the station. It takes about 90 minutes to get from Hachinohe to the hotel, though the hotel does offer shuttle bus service to the station. We chose to rent a car because there are many things within driving distance to see. The Oriase Keiryu hotel lies in a small valley alongside a river which runs from Towada lake. The drive from the train station to the hotel takes you through farm land and small towns. As there are few shops or stores near the hotel, it is a good idea to stock up on sundries at a convenience store or at the station before you get on the shuttle bus. Our rental car (a Mazda) had a navigation system which could be set to English, but I found my iPhone maps app offered a faster route. However, the route chosen by my phone took me alongside small farm roads, and a couple bridges which were too narrow for two-way traffic. But as there was almost no traffic along the route, this wasn’t an issue. After reaching the hotel, we found free parking near the entrance, and were quickly checked in. One great thing about Japanese hotels is that the service is always first rate, and tipping is not permitted. Our bags were promptly picked up at our car, and taken to our room. The Oriase Keiryu hotel is a combination of buildings with an older wing and a newer wing. The new wing (where we stayed) was a considerable distance from the lobby, but in Japan people are used to walking everywhere, so this was no real issue. The new part of the building is wonderfully decorated, with a couple of beautiful lobbies which offer coffee, tea, books and comfortable places to sit, indoors or outdoors. A good thing about this hotel is the wide variety of rooms, which can be had from less than $100 per night to $1500 per night. One thing I noticed as we were heading to our room was a rather strong smell. To some it might smell like an old building or something else, but I recognized it as the smell of onsen (hot spring) water. The hotel has an onsen baths for men and women, these are located in the newer wing of the hotel. As it happened, my wife had booked the best room in the hotel, which was a 2 bedroom suite.
