I really liked the location of this hotel.
The room is spacious and clean, and the breakfast is good.
It's situated in the heart of Myeong-dong, right on the shopping street, which is filled with lots of street food options.
To improve service for foreign guests, they hired a very friendly staff member who is fluent in English.
I highly recommend it! đ

I made a huge mistake and booked one day less than I planned to stay. On the day I was actually supposed to check out, I had gone somewhere far from the hotel without checking out and they contacted me letting me know i needed to check out. Even though check out is 11, they gave me until 1pm but of courae i couldnt make it back in time. I called them to check if I could book one more night and they said it was no problem and said I could come back when it's convenient for me to pay and extend my stay. I was really thankful for this because the problem was caused by my mistake.
In terms of the room, it's quite spacious. It's industrial style. The bathroom has a modern toilet with as many or more functions than a Japanese toilet. The bath tub is massive.
Keep in mind, this hotel doesn't do complimentary housekeeping unless you stay for 7 or more days, they don't regularly bring towels to your room or come collect your garbage, you must go and get towels from reception and dispose of your rubbish. The room doesn't provide too much stuff but just the necessities like medium fridge, hair dryer, body wash, conditioner, shampoo, face towel, bin. For me this was perfect because I don't often use the other amenities in a hotel so it ends up being a waste usually. I'm also usually okay without housekeeping everyday so it felt more private for me.
The hotel gym is new and clean, I also tried the brunch cafe downstairs and that was quite good too.
The only bad point is that it's quite far from Hongdae station. Around a 15-20 minute walk. When making plans, you should take thst into account so you're not late. If you don't mind the walk, it's really nice because the location is very quiet and there's lots of restaurants, cafes, bakeries and convenience stores along the way.
Honestly while staying here, it felt like I was living here in Korea rather than staying in a hotel.

My experience staying at this hotel was not very good. Since I was arriving late, the hotel informed me that I should use the self-check-in machine at the entrance. However, when I arrived, they didnât tell me that they had already pre-arranged my check-in. They had placed an envelope with my room code at the entrance. If someone else had taken that envelope, wouldnât they have been able to enter my room freely?
The most disturbing part was the housekeeping staff in the morning. They kept knocking on my door repeatedly, asking if I needed cleaning, and even opened my door without permission. On the third day, when I was supposed to check out, I had requested a late checkout in advance and received approval from the front desk, with an additional fee. However, the housekeeping staff were not informed about this. They kept knocking on my door and even entered my room again. I explained to them that I had permission for a late checkout, but they repeatedly told me in English, very firmly and forcefully, that it was not possible and that I had to check out immediately.
Overall, this was a terrible experience! The hotel did not even offer a single apology and just ignored the whole situation.

I searched for Brooklyn Hotel on Ctrip. It had a high rating, so I booked it for one day. The hotel is near the Jongno 5-ga subway station near Myeongdong. The owner is a kind uncle, who is completely different from the stereotyped Koreans in TV dramas. Their check-in is very simple and fast. We stayed for two more days. The uncle patiently answered all our questions with a translator and reminded us that there were free sandwiches for breakfast. The uncle also used a map to guide us to the Guangzang Food Court, which many foreigners would check in. He also enthusiastically helped us make instant noodles in the microwave. He said that the hotel was designed by his daughter-in-law, who is from Shanghai, China. After chatting, the uncle also gave us bread. The iced American coffee in the cafe on the first floor is also very nice, the price is not expensive, the room is also very clean and hygienic, and the area is also considered large in Seoul. I will stay at Brooklyn Hotel again on my next trip. It is really comfortable and the emotional value is full, which adds more color to this trip.
With a premium central Seoul location and an incredible view of cityscape. The hotel will offer an unforgettable experience for both business and leisure travelers. It boasts 331 guest rooms and 192 residences with a stunning rooftop bar and the outdoor infinity pool. With our chic dining options and modern convention facilities, we will ensure your successful business meetings and social gatherings.

We booked a triple room under residents and was happy with the facilities. Well equipped with water dispenser (which is my favourite), washer cum dryer, utensils etc.
Room size was also super great for 3 persons, 8 luggages, and yet sufficient space to move around. Lots of wardrobe too.
Location is super good, 3 mins walk to airport bus bus stop, 5-6 mins walk to DDP & train station. Near to Gwangja Market, Myeongdong.
The toilet is huge too.
Definitely preferred and recommended hotel if i revisit again.
The only cons if they can fostered the shower & toilet glass door so that both can be used at the same time.
Def going back to this hotel! Perfect location! Very accessible! Right beside myeongdong shopping street, at the buildingâs ground floor there are convenient stores, a lululemon, and an olive young. Itâs also right across the lotte dept store, also very close to subway and bus stops including the airport bus. The reception staff are friendly and can communicate well in english. They can even lend you an adaptor for your electronic devices, and you can leave your luggages at the lobby if you ever arrive/ check out early. most of all the rooms were clean and spacious!

Little bit disappointed with the promised upgrade. Turns out the room they upgraded to was smaller than the normal room. Had a few of my friends staying in the same hotel as we planned our trip together. Noticed our room at the corner was smaller and after reading the pass reviews.. it has happened before. They âupgradedâ the floor but down sized the room.
The photo u see is the room I stayed for 1 night (different from the website photos) before switching to another room. How unfortunate!
Also I booked king sized bed but it was less than 1.7m in width. What standards are the king size bed for an international hotel brand like IHG. Having known I would have stayed at my regular hotel like the Mondrian. Facilities were basic.. service ok. But size of room for my first night was so small I couldnât open my bag properly without blocking the walk way.
Ruined my experience. Having to move in and out of my room.
Only plus point is that it is a new hotel and super convenient- right beside the train station and airport bus stop.
Will I come back.. not unless they promise not to mislead people.

Spending a night in a room fully decorated with Cinnamorollâwould it be worth it?
I expected it would be, and so I booked the Cinnamoroll character room at Novotel Suites Ambassador Yongsan.
My child was even happier than I had imagined, and we were able to enjoy a truly relaxing time together.
The swimming pool was a bit small, but since there werenât many people at the time we used it, we were able to enjoy a peaceful swim.
The food package included in the Cinnamoroll room package was perfect for our hungry post-swim time. It tasted great and came with pizza, steak, salad, and drinksâan excellent combination.
However, despite booking for two adults and one child, the room was only prepared for two people in terms of towels, slippers, and bottled water. That lack of attention to detail was a bit disappointing.
Also, the robe and plush toy provided as part of the Cinnamoroll amenities werenât packed in anything, which made them inconvenient to carry.
It would be great if the hotel could consider things more from the guest's perspective.
Featuring 196 guestrooms, the hotel is built sustainably. The tranquility of the rooms with their modern design, as well as the infinity pool and indoor swimming pool, the creative French dining restaurant and lounge bar, along with the contemporary art pieces, will enchant guests. From our 20th-floor lobby, take in the serene poetry of the softly glowing Han River and the lush Bamseom under the tranquil night sky, a gift of nature's calm. Welcome to Hotel Naru Seoul - MGallery.

KKwon HyukThe location might be somewhat inconvenient for short-term travelers, but it is considered better than a hotel for long-term stays. As a residence, it not only offers the advantage of being able to cook meals, but also features high-quality electronic devices and furniture from reputable brands. Additionally, it provides convenience with items that enhance the quality of life, such as an air purifier, a clothing care system (like a Styler), and a massage chair. The overall design is elegantly done in white marble, giving it a luxurious feel, and the staff were friendly, ensuring a comfortable stay.
I would definitely choose to stay here again for a long-term visit. Highly recommendedđđœ
AAnonymous UserThis placeâs location is just amazing! The ground floor has access to a coffee shop and convenience store, when you go around the area there are a lot restaurants and cafes too. Not only that, the basement floor has direct access to the train station that goes to Line 3 and 4! Itâs just a station away from Myeongdeong, but you can also Aside from the amazing location, the room we had was compact but has a lot of what we need! Itâs still spacious given that we have 6 luggages in total. We definitely used the washing machine a lot since we only brought a few clothes for the winter. If we ever need anything (ie. Plastic bags for trash), it was very easy to contact the staff in charge. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Seoul!

MMagdaleneI gave the service low is because they given me a room with blocked sink in the bathroom so I went to asked for help me to change another room as the room have weird smells but then they reluctantly to change and insisted to put bleach in the sink . I am very allergic with chemicals especially after cataract eye surgery I canât locked myself in the chemicals room and insisted them to change luckily they change it in the end . Apart from that everything was amazing. Beautiful room and fancy toilet. Easy to commute locations I will book this place again .
SSusanne ThielBefore you book, there are two major construction sites around the building. It is loud. You will hear them, even with windows closed, starting at 7 am. There was no notification when I booked...and still, nothing in the hotel description.
Second, this is not a hotel! If you need anything like;
- Checkin
- New Towels
- toilet paper
- soap
- cleaning
- any sort of information about the apartment
You have to do it yourself! They provide you in the room , qr code & downstairs facilities to get all the stuff (u need extra garbage bags? Please buy them yourself)
I understand the idea of a self-service apartment....but I think for that price you are asking too much. Moreover, I felt lied to about the noise outside due to the construction sites. They apologized but did not offer a different room (backside) or compensation.
The apartment is ok, but location is good, close to subway and many restaurants. No real grocery store around. Just combinis.
MmiyukimotherI stayed here for two nights with my three mothers.
We took the airport limousine bus #6011 and got off at Anguk-dong.
Anguk Station, Jongno 3-ga, Jonggak and the subway station are all within walking distance, and it's also convenient to use the bus.
The room was spacious and had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a dining table, so we took out some midnight snacks.
The main street of Insadong is 50 meters away.
You can exchange money in Insadong without having to go to Myeongdong.
After night shopping at Dongdaemun, it's a short bus ride to Jongno 3-ga.
The shops are open even at 1am, so the road to the hotel is well lit.
HHana SuhaimeI was there for five nights. Travelling with my teenage daughter.Just both of us.I find the location very convenient about 338meter to Metro station where it has all Line accepted Line 1 or Line 2 where you have to change to Dongdaemun station.
I arrived at the hotel around 9am they don't allow us to have early check in even though I have requested 2 months upfront during the booking.
During my stay at the hotel is under renovation but it doesn't really affect us. Since we aren't really in the room all the time. We were outside most of the time.
My room hasn't been cleaned for almost 2 days. When i reached my room that night I called the receptionist..he said all our cleaners already go home.So he handed me the fresh linen for me to replace myself. The linen has a very strong chlorine smell that really affects my skin..my skin gets so itchy. So i covered my whole body when i want to sleep so the linen won't really touch my skin. Bare in mind that the cleaner won't clean your dishes ya!!! Even if you have a sink. If you left your dishes for 3 days it will be there for 3daysđđ€Ł
Overall i have a good time staying here. My opposite view is a hospital. Walking distance to DDM station.
BBOoBoO_91Urbanstay Myeongdong is the perfect choice for anyone looking for a comfortable, extended stay in Seoul. This service apartment-style hotel offers rooms that are thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a convenient and enjoyable stay.
Each room comes with a large fridge, microwave, coffee pod machine, a small kitchen area, and even a washing machine â making it ideal for long-term travelers who want to cook or do their laundry during their stay. The washing machine, in particular, is a huge plus, as it allows you to handle your laundry effortlessly without leaving your room.
While daily room make-up service is not available, the fantastic in-room facilities more than make up for it. The space is clean, modern, and functional, providing all the essentials to make you feel at home.
If youâre staying in Seoul for an extended period, Urbanstay Myeongdong is highly recommended for its practicality and comfort. Itâs a wonderful balance of convenience and value!

GGuest UserI stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days.
It's about a 7-minute walk from Euljiro 4-ga Station, and about a 10-minute walk from Chungmuro ââStation.
You can use various lines, and you can walk to Dongdaemun and Myeongdong. There are convenience stores and cafes nearby, as well as Jungbu Market and Gwangjang Market, so the location is very good, but I felt that it was a little difficult to walk with a suitcase.
You will be emailed the password to enter the room at 15:00 on the day.
Both check-in and check-out are contactless and there are no procedures, so
you can enter the room smoothly after arrival and leave immediately when you leave, which was convenient! !
The exterior and interior are new and clean, and my friend who went with me seemed to like it very much.
There are two living rooms and bedrooms, so you can have private space when you sleep, which is very good.
There is a kitchen space and a large refrigerator in the living room, and the freezer space to cool ice cream is also large, which was appreciated.
The bathroom is shared with the toilet, but it has a glass door, so the toilet doesn't get soaked!
There were plenty of bath towels for everyone and small towels, as well as shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and a hair dryer.
(There are no toothbrushes, so it's best to bring your own.)
There was also a styler in the bedroom, which was convenient!
It was a very pleasant trip, with everything I needed and a comfortable stay.
I'd definitely like to use this again if I go to Seoul!!
GGuest UserââąâąâąOverall it was very good.
Close to Exit 5 of Jongno-Sanga Station on Line 5 (stairs only)
It's a lively area with a row of bars, but there are security guards? police? security people wearing numbers here and there, so I didn't feel scared even when I was alone.
There is a convenience store. The receptionist was kind and lent me a converter.
The room was clean, there was no bathtub in the bathroom, but it's not a problem for a short stay. The water pressure and temperature of the shower were also fine.
There was a shower, body soap, and a hair dryer (with good air pressure), but no toothbrush.
âłâąâąâąThis time I was alone, so I left my suitcase open, but it might be tight for two people. There were slippers provided, but they were quite worn and I didn't want to use them barefoot, so I used the ones I brought with me.
I highly recommend it for those who mainly use Line 5, but even though it's a transfer, you have to walk quite a bit in the station to get to Lines 1 and 3.
I am satisfied with the hotel itself, its location, and the price, so it is a hotel I would like to stay at again.
