Opholdet var ikke som forventet. Der var ikke sat varme på da vi kom, så værelset var så koldt man ikke kunne være der. Radiatoren virkede heller ikke optimalt, så temperaturen i værelset svingede meget. Der var også generelt koldt på hele hotellet, vi måtte sidde med jakker på under morgenmaden.
Der blev kun udleveret håndklæder og sæbe mod betaling, hvilket vi ikke synes stemmer overens med prisen.
Personalet var til gengæld meget søde og behjælpelige.

Basic rooms and no non slip mats provided for the shower . My friend stepped out of the shower , slipped and hurt his arm and leg , overpriced and no towels in the room . We had to make our own beds . Hardly any plug sockets to charge our phones . No one told us we had to book the restaurant until it was too late and was fully booked , so we had to walk 30 mins to find a restaurant to get something to eat. If you want any beers at the bar , don't hold your breath as the staff can't be bothered to serve you . All in all , not a very good experience and we won't be back

Zuerst die positiven Punkte - die in der Tat ein „Stay-Okay“ verdienen (der Rest eher „Stay-Away“). 😝 Schöne Lage im Wald, nette Außen- und Gemeinschaftsanlagen, freundliche Leute (Personal und Besucher), Frühstück passabel… ABER die Zimmer viel zu teuer, alt und schmutzig… und wir haben einige Jugendherbergen in Deutschland, Schweiz, Österreich und Niederlande gesehen… keine mit so miesen Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis wie hier… einzig die Häuser (ab zwei Übernachtungen, max 4 Personen) kann man sich anschauen…

We sliepen in een fijn wikkelhuisje in het bos. Het huisje was schoon, alles wat je nodig hebt voor een comfortabel verblijf was aanwezig. De ligging in het bos is top voor kleuters die zich willen uitleven, in de buurt zijn ook veel kindvriendelijke activiteiten, zoals Apenheul of het Boschbad. Ook de Hoge Veluwe en Radio Kootwijk zijn vlakbij. Enig minpuntje: het huisje is lastig te verduisteren. Pak een slaapmasker mee of bereid je voor op kinderen die vroeg uit de veren zijn… Kortom: tof verblijf, hele goeie prijs-kwaliteitverhouding!

Wat een groot en mooi avontuur zou moeten worden, bleek een deceptie. Bij aankomst in ons pittoreske kamertje bleken er maar 2 stopcontacten te zijn (voor 6 mensen waarvan 2 met kinderen niet ideaal). Als dat het enige is...., helaas. Nog net niet thuisgekomen tijdens kinderbedtijd was het om 00:30 raak en werden we weggestuurd uit de sfeervolle gangen van het StayOkay verblijf. Meevaller, het bed lag lekker. Niet duidelijk of dat door de overmatige alcohol consumptie kwam, wat daar trouwende ook al verboden is. Kort maar krachtig: 1 ster vreselijk. En de trapjes van het stapelbed zijn ook niet best. Captain Iglo bedankt.
