Le Vasa Resort

This hotel is beautiful and is in a beautiful location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. And it’s very close to the Ferry terminal and the airport. But there are a few things they really need to improve on. The breakfast was very poor. For the money they charge they couldn’t even include an egg. It was just fruits, toast and oat meal. There are no restaurants or shops nearby to get any food. So you are restricted to eating at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant food is ridiculously priced for what they are offering. I had 4 meals there and I wasn’t impressed with any of the meals. Other than that, we had a great stay. It’s a 45 mins taxi ride to the city.

We stayed our last night here before flying out. I am not into writing reviews or being negative. To write this sensitively, if you would like to experience the beauty of Samoa, this resort does not offer it. We had 10 days of bliss in Samoa, staying in Lalomanu Beach and then out to Savai'i. Everywhere we went was incredibly friendly staff, stunning lagoon's and impeccable pride in their garden's and resort. This resort is the opposite. On first impressions, we stopped the car and checked the map as we thought we had pulled into the wrong resort- the grounds are scruffy and unkept, which is such a contrast to everywhere in Samoa. On arrival, there was no polite greeting, cold drink or welcoming gesture. We were asked for a copy of our passport and a credit card, in case there was any breakages, then we would be charged. Additionally a sheet of rules we had to sign, dictating other charges that could be made to our card. The owner was standing right in reception, and did not acknowledge us. A remarkable contrast to everywhere we had experienced in Samoa! Arriving at our room, the kids were going to go for a swim straight away. The beach infront of the rooms is completely murky and looks very uninviting. Even the next morning when it was more settled, it was completely murky. The good things- it's ideal for quick accessibility to the ferry and airport. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Good breakfast.

I stayed in the lagoon fale and it was so comfortable, beautiful views and a great deck right on the lagoon. The food and service was amazing, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The views for sunset were incredible and the beaches were great to swim in and relax.

We booked Le Vasa resort for our stay in Samoa in October 2025 and, without intending to initially, we decided to have our wedding there, which was the best decision ever. Le Vasa offered excellent conditions for a very reasonable budget. The whole organization of the wedding took only a few emails, and we couldn't be happier. Actually, the reason we decided to get married in Samoa was exactly because the resort offered such a painless and easy process. Now, we have the most beautiful memories and will cherish them forever. The wedding day went perfectly, the organization was fantastic, the location gorgeous, the decoration beautiful, and the staff—all of them were superstars and made us feel so at ease, welcomed, and cared for. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! As for the accommodation, we stayed at the Blue Manono House, which is a property 2 km from the resort but is managed by them. The house consisted of four bedrooms and two bathrooms, a big living area, a kitchen, and a large dining table. Perfect for a group of friends or a big family. Don't expect a luxury villa. The furnishings were modest, but we had everything that we needed and more. We were welcomed with a fruit basket, and they had left plenty of coffee and milk, which we very much appreciated. The location was just superb. Surrounded by water, the villa has a cute small fale and a private small lagoon—what more could you ask for? And finally, don't miss the restaurant at Le Vasa—everything that we had was delicious, so it's worth going there even if you don't stay at the resort. Honestly, we really hope that some day we'll manage to go back!

Absolutely fantastic stay with Le Vasa resort, room was perfect for 5 of us staff visited frequently for refresh on room.Lovely maintained grounds amazing friendly staff who go out of their way to help. Food was awesome,big portions sizes yummy cocktails and pool nice and clean.Free wifi for our longer stay We spent a lot of time in this resort so made our trip that much better.Highly recommend staying here

We had such a great stay here. The resort has a really calm, laid-back vibe and the grounds are stunning, especially the pool area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the dinner service staff went above and beyond. The food overall was good, and the whole experience made for a really enjoyable start of our holiday. My only negative was the pizza. Sorry, it was just on the thickest base that resembled more a bread than a pizza base. That's just a minor though. Everything else was great!
