Nach 14 Jahren haben wir wieder einige Tage in Appenzell und im Hotel Säntis verbracht. Es hat sich nicht viel verändert, wir fühlten uns gut aufgehoben, die Küche war sehr gut und das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Tiefgarage haben wir als sehr positiv empfunden.

Wir wurden verwöhnt und das Essen, Wein und Schnaps waren einfach traumhaft. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und humorvoll bedient. Das Hotel war sehr schön und ruhig. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit es wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt.

What an incredible place with such a rich history! Reception was wonderful. Very helpful with recommendations. We had one of our favorite dinners ever in the restaurant with wonderful service and delicious local food, wine, and whiskey. Great bed, shower, and view of the square with church bells ringing. Loved looking at all the historic pictures and knick knacks. We loved Appenzell, and highly recommend Romantik Hotel Santis!

Das grosse Appenzeller-Haus ist mit viel Liebe gepflegt und man fühlt sich sehr heimelig und willkommen. Die Zimmer sind charmant und die Bäder modern und sehr sauber. Das Personal war immer sehr herzlich und professionell zugleich. Das traditionelle Essen schmeckte ausgezeichnet und die Auswahl an Weinen und lokalen Schnäpsen ist beeindruckend. Wir waren bereits zum zweiten mal da und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

We were part of a tour group and the hotel was just perfect. We had a huge room and bathroom, with a walk in shower which was just so appreciated. Dinner and breakfasts were excellent with a wide variety of options available. The staff were efficient and friendly. Perfect location for the old town (so many little shops and restaurants to explore) and a couple of supermarkets within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.
