Not disappointed at all. From the minute we walked in we were made to feel welcome. We stayed here for a week in the king size sea view room ( my word what a view it was ) it was beyond expectations and not once did the standard drop. The level of cleanliness and hospitality was top notch, not to mention the food. Whether it was breakfast or an evening meal it was well cooked and very tasty. I have never had such tasty porridge as they make here. I can highly recommend staying here, you certainly won’t be disappointed.

The hosts were so friendly and accommodating! They accomodate to your specific needs which is a really nice touch. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The accomodation was beautiful and our room was amazing. Clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The complementary prosecco was also a lovely gesture. We stayed here for a stopover on a motorcycle trip. 2 x single occupancy rooms and a double. All rooms were very well presented and equipped. The name bunkhouse doesn’t fit as we were pleasantly surprised with the rooms and the communal facilities. The owner was very friendly and helpful giving us a tour of the facilities. Ideal base for the Highlands or for a single night stopover. I would definitely stay here again.

Our host and hostess offered us superb Scottish hospitality with their welcoming friendly and helpful manner. We rested in our clean room and comfortable bed after a long scenic drive from Fort William. It had easy parking and convenient location. We walked to the View in Oban for a Ceilidh Night (Scottish music and folk dancing). It was a fantastic evening for my granddaughter and me. An excellent, delicious, healthy breakfast was served and included in the price which was very reasonable. Would definitely stay here again.

It's a 3-minute walk from the train station and only half an hour's walk to the entire Oban. It's a beautiful town. The croissants for breakfast are delicious and the service attitude is very good.

Absolutely lovely hotel, had a gorgeous room overlooking the harbour, where we could watch the ferry coming and going over to Mull. Comfortable beds, spacious room and kettle with tea, coffee etc as well. Literally a couple of minutes walk to both the ferry and train station, which was abolsutely perfect for us. Parking directly opposite the hotel, which was easy to pay online via an app (or there are pay and display machine with cash options) and we were really pelased to find it'a s long stay carpark too, meaning that our trip to Mull as foot passengers was nice and wasy as we had somewhere convenient to leave our car safely overnight. Would definitely come back here again!

The Muthu hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Oban train station, the hotel is 100 years old, not very new, but the location is perfect, better than any other hotel location in Oban, firstly, it is not far from the train station, secondly, the hotel can look at both the hill across the street and the right side of the sea, thirdly, the hotel is only 1-minute walk from Oban's famous restaurant, EE-USK. The rooms directly across from the marina look out over Oban Bay. The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated, and its casual style relaxes people, The hotel soundproofing is slightly worse. Occasionally, you can hear the floor sound of walking upstairs, but it does not affect the rest; also, please rest assured! This is my own personal experience. The staff here are all amiable, and I was very impressed. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone! This place will leave you with great memories of your trip!

The view is incredible but that is the best thing about the hotel. It was exceptionally expensive for what it was. I felt sad that I'd spent so much of my hard-earned money on it. The room was average. You had to pay to hire a towel for the swimming pool which I thought was ridiculous. If you pay nearly £300 a night to stay somewhere, swimming towels should be a given. The breakfast was OK but nothing special. Just a buffet of basics. Dinner was nice. I was slightly dubious about going after seeing the breakfast but there aren't a lot of options nearby. It was actually an enjoyable meal in the end though. Dogs were allowed.

We booked a family stay at Woodlands making the most of their various accommodation offerings. I stayed in a Seabed and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Very spacious for the two of us but also has a sofa bed too, so would be great for families. We booked direct which I’d definitely recommend as you get a bottle of Prosecco and bathrobes thrown in. I added a few extras before arrival for a little extra treat. These were super easy to add on their website. Views are outstanding and the hot tub was simply perfect after a long drive. Can’t wait to return!!
