It was a relaxing time and service and accommodation and meals more than satisfactory. I would recommend everyone to stay at this hotel. Lots of activities at the Nest and in the area.

Stayed at The Nest Hotel because we took part in a lawn bowls coaching course. The course was exceptionally well run and very professional. The Hotel was so conveniently placed and was very clean and comfortable.

Easy to get to on tarred roads this gem of an old fashioned hotel was exactly the place for our fiftieth wedding anniversary. Joined by family from all over we had the best week ever. Our group starred with 13 and stretched to 25...and we all agreed The Nest was brilliant. Great staff ,clean warm rooms,and excellent food. The spacious grounds and children activities were a real bonus.

Rooms are old and need work, not much engagement from staff, the property needs work too. Owners came across as friendly. Not much variety for non-meat eaters and breakfast options are limited.

I booked in April and expected a lot better- initial room was small, cold and broken, the room moved to had water issues, broken toilet roll holders, door locks. The place is old & run down. The food very average with minimal options. Drinks very expensive.

The Nest is a lovely family hotel with beautiful surroundings. The rondavel we stayed in was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable, and the room had underfloor heating which was really welcome as it was a very cold night! Best of all we were delighted to find an electric heated underblanket on the bed. Bathroom facilities were adequate but not luxurious! The set menu for dinner was well prepared and tasty and we really enjoyed it. Staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. For families travelling with children this would be a great place to stay.

The Nest is great value for money! Close to the Central Berg with a stunning view of the mountain! The Pub is a delightful place to have pre-drinks especially in the cold winter months!
