Hotels near Balay Sa Agta, Argao

At a first glance hotel was pleasant, decorated nicely & clean. However no hot water on the first day we asked for someone to check it whom he said it’s broken, maintenance will be in tomorrow to fix it. 4 days later still nobody has fixed the shower and we’re still having cold showers. Room hasn’t been cleaned in that time either although stated it would be every other, no clean towels, no toilet roll, no water to drink (even if paid for) Tours are extremely expensive through this hotel so advise to to research elsewhere for cheaper options. Building works going on which blew dust into the room and covering our clothes/bags & bed. Screaming little kids with no respect for other guests outside the bedroom window at 6am after politely asking them to move along and be quieter they stayed and continued to shout. Buffet breakfast is gone unless you get there before start time (7am) and limited food allowed - don’t eat the pancakes either couldn’t be rawer if the chef tried. Wifi non existent on 3rd floor, Only positive is the pillows were comfy.

On the third morning, I went to the hotel buffet breakfast and chose another flavor. After dinner, we went to the hotel beach to play. The hotel provided free kayaking for half an hour. We also caught sea cucumbers, which were so thick. The locals told us that we could eat them, but unfortunately there was no way to process them. If the hotel could provide processing, How good it is like in China. In the evening, you can take the hotel staff's speedboat out of the island, and you can get a tuk-tuk bus at the door. If you can talk to two hundred people, he can take you to Mobao Town, eat and go shopping, and ask him to wait for you and take you back for the same price. Very happy. After staying for three days, I was bitten by a flea on the first night, and it only bit me. It was in bed because I always had extra red spots on my body the next morning. It is hoped that management in this area will be strengthened. Everything else is satisfactory. The only drawback is that the flea bites make me itchy.

The hotel is beautiful, secluded from the outside world. Come here for a quiet, relaxing holiday. Impressed by the cleanliness of the area and rooms. Everything on the territory of the hotel is very convenient. The owners and staff of the hotel are friendly. The room has air conditioning and a kitchenette. Cleaning every day. The staff throws beautiful shells on the cut lawns - nice! Down the path, to the sea, a shell rock shore, I’ll tell you such a thrill !!! Was in March 2018.

The room is quite good, the bed is large, it is more comfortable to lie on, there is a window, the ventilation effect is also very good, the whole room is not smelly, and there is a separate bathroom for bathing, 24 hours of hot water is still The more convenient thing is that you need to bring your own toiletries and towels. In addition, you can enjoy the view of the sea easily. It is also very close to the beach.

I loved how warm and their staff is. It's the perfect resort for a mix of rest, relaxation and adventure altogether. They have a game room. Perfect for barkadas or for siblings or colleagues who checks in at the resort. I was greeted with warms smiles when I arrived. Check-in process was smooth. Check-out process is a bit long though. The room I stayed in is their Tour room. It was clean. I loved my bed and pillows. Aircon, hot and cold shower, TV were working. I like that there are many outlets inside the room and that I could get refillable water at the lobby. My room has a terrace but the view of this particular room wasn't nice but it's okay. They have toiletries and towels. The only missing though is conditioner. Soap is too small over a day's use. Shower area doesn't have a cover so water splashes onto the outside tiles. During my return, I stayed in their villa room, there was no light outside the door so it was challenging to open at night. Villa room is nice too - it has bigger TV, a purifier and a small ref, which I didn't have in their Tour room. Bathroom needs provision for hanging towel near the shower area. No space to put our other toiletries. There was only a space for soap, so we had to put it on the tiles on the side. Regarding amenities, we like that the pool temperature is warm. However, the pool ladder is loose, which can be scary to use. I like that we can use their snorkeling equipment for free and the clear kayak boat is free too for 15 minutes. There's no beach front, as in sand on the beach for you to stay at. Just stairs directly to the water. Our comment regarding the restaurant, the spaghetti was soaky, wonton soup was bland and no fish options on the menu. But some of their food are okay. I hope instead of instant coffee, I can have the option to choose drip coffee or have more decent options in coffee (I was sad about it, as someone who's particular with her coffee). Hope they will have espresso-based coffee or at least brewed coffee available instead of just instant coffee. Internet connection is okay, it might not be quite fast enough for video meetings. I was advised DITO and Globe signal are good in the resort. But maybe it was only just inside my room. I haven't checked the internet speed outside. There's live band after/during dinner time. The group who sang on our stay on the 29th wasn't so good but the one weekend prior was great. During my return, they prepared a small welcome back surprise for me. I felt so special. I really appreciated it. You can also request for them to prepare a small surprise for couples (ie., anniversary). The staff remembers returning guest too! I was also surprised to receive a returning guest voucher (free 1 whole pizza and a pitcher of iced tea - can only be claimed within my stay). The sunset in Pescadores is beautiful too! So kind staf, and a very good location. We stayed here for 4-5 nights, and i was there with my mother and sister. Remeber musquito spray, they are also ind the rooms. Ask them for room nr. 102, as we stayed in. It i right my the ocean, you can see the ocean from the room. Very good food and breakfast. We did the cononering while staying here and saw turtels. Would defently go back another time. We also had a good massage in the rooms.

The location is just awesome. Two minutes walk from the coral reef with sardines and sea turtles you can watch from early morning until 5pm with your own snorkeling equipment or hire a guide and GoPro. There are many bars and restaurants around the hotel. Some of them are cheap, local eateries. The landlady was super nice and caring. We wanted to extend our stay but we couldn’t as it was fully booked. She helped us a lot in that unpleasant situation. The room was clean and smelled good. The water in the shower was hot and nice. There were towels, shampoo and soap in the room. If we ever come back, we’ll definitely choose this hotel again

Excellent structure, spacious, new and well-kept rooms, comfortable and clean with air conditioning and private bathroom. Rooms with TV, hot and cold water. Free water dispenser available to guests. nice staff and available. Restaurant/bar on site where you can also make breakfast. Structure located in Moalboal in a very active area where the bars are open until late night. Perfect location. Near restaurants, bars, beach of Panagsama. The coral barrier and sardines are located just in front of the structure. Diving school. Great for those who love snorkeling and diving. Open reception not 24 hours on 24. They accept payment with credit card. Free Wi-Fi connection available throughout the facility. At request, they organize transfers with private cars with driver and excursions. Basdaku beach also called White beach a few km away. Available with tuk tuk. It is recommended for those who are looking for a building in the centre of Moalboal with a diving school, but also for those who want to relax on the beach of Panagsama.

A lovely isolated venue to get away from it all and soak up the sounds of the sea. The studio rooms are good, although the beds could do with a headboard- a few times I woke up with the pillars on the floor behind the bed. The pool is small, but adequate and there are plenty of other spaces to chill out and bathe in solitude. The shoreline is very tidal and you don’t get to water above knee height until you get over 100 metres out, but, once you get to deep water there is a very impressive reef with lots of fish and even sharks- of the safe variety. The food is of a reasonable standard, but it’s a limited menu and after 3 days, I think I had covered everything I could possibly eat. I do recommend the shrimp curry. Breakfasts were very good. There is work to do in customer service here- although the staff are very cooperative and pleasant, there are not many smiles shown and they seem to be a bit stuck in their ways and timelines. Requesting to have dinner at 7.30pm seemed an issue, as they came knocking on our door at 7.20pm and the food was already out! Playing pool with another couple until 9pm seemed an irritation to them and a request to have breakfast at 7.30am instead of the usual 8am start fell on deaf ears as we sat there from 7.30am until 8am when breakfast was then served..,, no big deal, but this place could be amazing with some thought and planning on making the facilities and staff as well as the location fantastic too.

The hotel is suitable for a relaxing vacation! If you go diving, you can live directly in the dive shop. Generally, accommodation is provided. Although the place is relatively simple and remote, the overall environment is still very clean, and the locals are very friendly and kind!
