Lovely clean hotel, friendly staff. Loads to do nearby in Wicklow. I didn't use the leisure centre as the weather was so nice so we went to the beach nearby. Bar food was lovely, breakfast was excellent . I would definitely return for another stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel the staff were expectional and all very warm and friendly from the receptionist checking us in to the bar staff even though it was very busy. The breakfast staff couldn't have done enough checking in and being generally very welcoming and giving suggestions on the local area. The food was all very good we really enjoyed are eveving meal and breakfast. The lcoation is also very central. We had a tiny drip from the room above but the receptionist staff sorted this issue hence why good and not excellent.

Lovely helpful staff. The hotel itself is very dated and tired and in need of renovation. Bedroom very tired and quite depressing. I found food and drinks to be quite expensive. I'm not a breakfast person, but my partner was very complimentary about the breakfast and also the leisure facilities. I was very surprised that a 4 * Hotel did not provide bottled water in the room.

Old property worn down in places ..some staff unhelpful firstly the male receptionist who im still awaiting his call about a early checkin ...staff member who approached us to ask us to vacate a table in the public area of the pub as it was reserved ?? Though no one appeared for a booking...The wedding party we were in spent alot of money and maybe abit more appreciation should of been shown to a well behaved group ....

Booked as a surprise night away for my husband for Father's Day - From booking to our arrival, from eating to checking out we experienced the most friendly, yet professional, amazing staff who made sure no one wanted for anything. Left in our room upon arrival was a welcome card for my husband (the hotel were aware it was a surprise visit) and a box of chocolates which of course he was delighted with. He then enjoyed the Euros 2024 live on the screens down in the lounge bar while he tucked into his steak sandwich! By the time we left after a full breakfast the next morning, in his element is an understatement ... Thank you to all at The Arklow Bay Hotel for making his night so special. We will indeed most definitely be back!

I was working at the Dan McCabe with guest Sina Theil and had a fantastic time, then after the show straight to bed which are comfortably had a nice quiet sleep up next morning checked out to do it all again at another venue, the staff where very friendly and had no issues with my stay so i would highly recommend stay at this hotel 😀
