The outdoor equipment (pools, pool-bars and the beach) are wonderful. We always could find a place in the shadow. We booked ”full-pension” and the choice of the restaurant was good. A bit too much meat for us, but it's normal for Brazil :) The service people were very kind an tried to speak English with us, which is not evident in Brazil. The room was really poor: beds are old and out of time, I think they are more than 20-years-old. The toilet should be renovated, everything is moulded and/or partially broken. We had no safe in the room. All over, we were there for the pool and it was good. But the complete resort should be renovated if they want to have guests again. I wouldn't come here again. The management should think about, to invest a bit in the old-fashioned infrastructure.

The inn is excellent. Always very receptive to everyone and has an incredible structure. Very cozy and friendly. The rooms with the winter garden are the most beautiful things there are. Proximity to Rua das Pedras is absurd.
8 min walk from Buzios Bus Station.
6 min from Privilege and Buda Beach
15 min from Praia dos Ossos and another 5 min to Azedinha.
In front of Americanas, McDonalds, restaurants with great cost/benefit.
I will always stay at Selina when I am in Buzios. Congratulations.

I made a family trip and asked to make a full pension for 2 days, and the official who attended us at the reception on Sunday said we had no right to Sunday lunch on the day of exit. I knew we had a good time, because we were in the evening of Friday and had only had dinner, so we had the right to 2 lunches and 2 dinners, we delivered the room at the scheduled time, but we would leave the hotel just after lunch. And only after my question at the reception, he asked us for a while, leaving us shocked, and when we were going out he said we would have the right to lunch. But I had already been annoyed with the situation and I prefered to leave without lunch, we lost even appetite. Summary: We're going to get more experienced people at the hotel reception, or better treat this kind of matter with the staff of the hotel. We can't go through this kind of constraint OK. I lost the lunch paid to the hotel for my family for this situation.

-The hotel is very nice, close to some beaches in búzios. -The room was clean, but saw some bugs, not sure it’s their fault though, as the place is surrounded with trees and grasses. -The pool wasn’t clean though, wasn’t appealing for me to swim in it. -Breakfast has a lot of varieties, and very well displayed and covered (again because of the insects). I like that it stays open until 7:00pm -On the check-out, they only asked me about what I had from the fridge, they didn’t check if what I said was true, which I found very trustworthy in term of hospitality. -It’s bad that the receptionist only speaks Portuguese, but it’s like this everywhere in Brasil, so it’s hard a bit for foreigners to communicate with them.

Beautiful hotel, great location but rubbish WiFi. We were offered a room change to help with “better WiFi signal” but the internet service is generally poor around the hotel. The tv in the room is connected to the internet for Netflix etc, very frustrating when trying to watch something or do any work, constantly cutting out. We stayed in the classic ocean view room overlooking the water, the view is delightful and interior nice, but you can hear noise from the road outside and the music from the parties in the nearby town (not the one for a light sleeper this goes on until 5am). Generally a nice hotel, but a few bug bears for the price, I don’t want to get irritated by the basic issues with internet and noise on holiday when paying this price.

PPeter BThe small hotel is overall very good and the restaurant excellent. BEWARE - if you stay in The Master Suite (as we did) or at the front overlooking the sea, there are two nightclubs in very close proximity that often operate 11pm - 4pm many nights and on Saturday Privilege Club is open from 11pm until 7am with incredibly loud bass that kept us awake for the duration of our four night stay. The staff dismissed it, but I took a video and recorded the noise at 3am! Checked out early, half way through our stay as couldn't bear it any longer. Little empathy from the Management Team there unfortunately. We moved to A Concept Hotel in a quieter location. It was superb in every respect. Such a shame.

I made the order of a nice filet with a paddy sweet and was very bad. The breakfast is honest, tasty.
2) SPA. I know it is a third-party company, but the care needs to improve tb. I asked for a massage via WhatsApp and the massage therapists did not respond in any way. I had to ask for the guest's reception to get in touch with the SPA. When they arrived at the massage, the officials were massaging each other, so they didn't listen to me and, to complete a constraint, I passed a constraint when they charged me the massage, even I informed that I would pay as soon as they finished. the service. bad experience.
