Only 1 lift. Is a former travellodge hotel. Feels more like 3star hotel. Staff was friendly but thats about it

I found a welcome card on my table when I arrived in the room, but the card was issued to a different name, not my name. That was really disappointing. When I checked in the staff demanded payment whereas I had fully paid online and had to show her proof of payment. That was very disappointing again as the system hadn’t recognised my payment.

The service was Awful. The A/C was not working. As I had a late check-in no one was available over the reception to take my call and help me resolve it. The hot water was not working either. Two major amenities one should expect to work in a hotel room, wasn't working. Mind you they charged over $200 for one night. Upon bringing it to the reception the next morning, the gentleman ran upstairs to the room and came back few minutes later confirming the hot water wasn't working and stated that A/C was working but stated the A/C system saying failed connection is just a bluff. Since I was not born yesterday and I do know how A/C system works and just by feeling can say if cold air is rushing in or not, I can confirm that I did spend a hot and sweaty night without an Air con in a hotel I paid over $200 for a night. The gentleman did not offer any form of resolution and a small apology was pushed forward. I firmly rejected his apology and left as I did not believe I could have found any solution with him. I was actually robbed by Mercure. I thought it was a respectful hotel chain but this sour experience has made me make up my mind to avoid this hotel and this hotel chain in fact going forward.

It was , okay. The location was not the best The breakfast was underwhelming. For a hotel like this class I’ve expect more.

Location is far from train station. I have to wait 30min-60min and sometimes there no bus service. Some house keepers don’t know about their job to do. For my room, sometimes they don’t top up Hand wash, body wash, shampoo, toilet paper, Milk, tea and coffee and also they don’t make the beds, change or clean the cups and plates and towels.

A very nice overnight stay on an executive room! Room smelled very new and bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep! Room was well furnished with a little futon sofa so you’re not just sitting on the bed all the time..

It's not a new hotel, but it's clean. Located in the northwest of Sydney, you can easily visit the Blue Mountains. There are fast food and shopping malls nearby, so it is best to travel by car. The price of the hotel is relatively affordable and you can stay there for one night
