Crown Beach Resort & Spa

What you see on the website pictures is not what you will see when you arrive .I was married here 9 years ago, and the crown was a delight .staff were happy, and it was indeed a real pleasure then to stay . But that was different owners and management then . Now ..... the place is run down in nearly every aspect . The ponds around the property are empty in most of the areas except near the restaurant . The gardens are not maintained like they used to be, I see on other people's comments the management said this is a seasonal thing . However if you venture out to other resorts, gardens are stunning and full. the pool looked like it needs a good clea. Thee water looked dirty so never went in . The wooden tables and plastic chairs outside where you would sit for a cocktail need replacing as half of them are wobbly and dirty and falling apart. Breakfast fruit was pretty sad and the toaster wasn't working, the food was always stone cold . And the cups for coffee were constantly dirty . Sadly I feel for the staff as I know many who were there when we stayed and other family members were really disappointed with this resort. Even on entry to the resort .the restaurant that used to be at the front has closed .the spa looks dim and unappealing . Now to the rooms that you pay so much for . Not worth the money by no means .. I've stayed at lots of lovely places in raro and had the most beautiful experiences some cheaper some not so. but the prices you pay for here at the crown is not 4 star . The rooms are run down, and nothing has been maintained . Wifi still doesn't work, unless near office, which yes has been like this 9 years ago, so that hasn't improved like management responded in reply to other customers .tv has more or less 1 channel and fuzzy. But back then the rooms were a lot cleaner and the resort shone . Floors were dirty , linen was yellow and dirty. Asked for an extra blanket had stains all over it . Pillows old 🤮. Cutlery and kitchen utensils I couldn't used looked so dirty , couch covers in unit and in foyers look dirty stained . .oh and yes ....management we did have a chat to front desk . Sadly the people running this have no love for the crown and I really feel for the staff as they are lovely and can only imgone the complaints they myst get . Frances was lovely and the bar staff do make great drinks but its heart breaking that their is no love for this place .it seems all the money isn't going into the property to upgrade . Photos on this site aren't what you get . This property is in need of so much love ❤️ i am certain the owners dont listen to any of these reviews as they just response with excuses .

Just the best and Eve in one place

A lovely laidback quiet peaceful resort. An ideal side of the island for beautiful sunsets and less wind! Villa w own pool or the beachfront villas are lovely - simple but clean and tidy and ex service. Great friendly staff - a true Island getaway. Close to the Airport & top restaurants etc Added bonus of no small children if at that time in your lives.

This was an exceptional and Authentic experience, from when we first walked in the team were amazing right through to leaving on our final day, we will be back if your looking for a great place to stay with great facilities, wonderful food and even better the cocktails and bar is great one of the best on the Island and we tried everywhere! It’s located close to town but not too close and just down the beach from some other exceptional spots, the beaches is great for bathing and swimming, cocktails and whale watching (in season) Highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet authentic holiday. Ohhh and the spa is fabulous friendly team and great massages! Love Villa 13 we will be back! Just a note if your expecting to come to the Islands and have wifi etc don’t… it’s a great way to switch off and relax but there is some internet available just not everywhere.

The staff at the crown beach resort were all very nice. I really appreciated their kindness. The restaurant had perhaps the worst food I ever had!! I could not wait to go home. Had there been more than two flights a week I would have left three days into my trip. I tried to contact ******* for refund so I could go elsewhere but it is impossible to get through to *******! I am very disappointed with the entire experience!

Lovely staff and excellent facilities. Room was a good size and well kept. Thoroughly recommend.
