We visited last weekend for a two night stay. we had a really lovely experience. the staff were all really great from front desk throughout. the food was really excellent in both the Pub and the Harvest room. in the Pub our host was Pat and he was very helpful. the grounds of the hotel are really lovely and the 4km walk on the castal path is worth doing. we visited Hook Head Lighthouse, JFK Homestead and Tintern Abbey. even though the weather was poor on the day we had a great time and Wexford is well worth the visit! I ate dinner in the champagne seafood bar last evening and thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. When making the reservation they asked about food sensitivities and I explained I tried to be gluten-free. As soon as I receded and my drink order taken one of the staff approached me to talk about non gluten options. Turn South at all but three items on the entire menu could be made gluten-free and the big surprise was they crafted gluten-free white bread which I must say, along with the amazing Irish butter, was delicious. My skirt steak was done to perfection and when I asked for mixed vegetables instead of truffle fries they presented beautifully cooked broccoli carrots potatoes and parsnips. The weight staff is amazing and James most especially was most accommodating. The setting of the country house is peaceful and beautifully landscaped. The interiors are lush and comfortable. I've every hope of returning at a later date and ideally staying at the hotel. Like every luxury experience it is high-end on pricing but does not disappoint.

My husband & I stayed in Dunbrody House in April 2024. Reception staff warmly welcoming. Especially Harry from Enniskerry who couldn’t have been more courteous. We were also given an upgrade to a suite which was superb- a haven of tranquility. We stayed for four nights & dined in all three restaurants-the fine dining was exquisite- food delicious. The bar crab was lovely. The Local was very nice. I can’t praise Dunbrody highly enough- the breakfasts were perfect. The idea of late leisurely breakfast til 11am is a great idea. We walked the grounds & felt cocooned in a big hug. The decor was beautiful. The staff were so helpful especially the server at breakfast. We’ll definitely be back. Sarah O’Connor.

Kevin and Cathrine have curated an amazing experince. This is a 5 star Georgian home that is impeccabbly maintained. And the food was out of this world and the grounds were beautiful. I would recommend having a formal dinner in the restaurant. Excellent experience would recommend to all.

Very nice location, quiet, nice, good looking. Extremely friendly people, very good food, best service. We had an overnight stay on our two weeks roundtrip from Germany through the UK and Ireland with our vintage car. We learned a lot of hotels but this was one of the very best.

This was our first visit to this hotel .We stayed two nights for a relaxing getaway. The hotel is tastefully furnished and the rooms are very comfortable. However, I was surprised that the TV only offered terrestrial stations given the attention to detail in the rest of the hotel The food was of a high quality both at breakfast and dinner. There is a lovely Cliff Walk which can be accessed from the hotel grounds which loops down to Arthurstown and then back up to the hotel by road. There is also a shop adjacent to the hotel which sells beautiful local craft items. There is a pub in the grounds which offers an alternative place to dine if you wish. The staff were attentive and most helpful during our visit. I would recommend this hotel if you were planning on treating yourself to something special.

We had the most memorable experience in Dunbrody house! a 2 day engagement celebration that Tearena helped organise. Could not recommend it more, so friendly and welcoming. Amazing house, and incredible food. Would highly recommend celebrating a special occasion here

We had a very special birthday lunch at Dunbrody House Hotel last Saturday, 18th May. The restaurant was specially prepared for our party of 30. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We were made to feel we were the most important guests there. we had drinks on the terrace before and after the meal and had the restaurant to ourselves to say a few words in tribute to our birthday guest. The weather was gorgeously sunny and that made a special venue really shine. Our family agreed we will return there for future events. Many thanks to Harry and all the staff for making the day such a success.

From my first call with Tearena, we knew we were in for a wonderful stay. We arrived to a great welcome. Our room was beautiful. All of the staff were more than pleasant, and efficient. The hotel was spotless and the grounds immaculate. I was lucky enough to do the cookery school with Julien on Saturday, a brilliant day, great tips shared, and lots of lovely food cooked and served to us. Checking out we felt we had made a friend with Tearena, and know for sure we will revisit.
