We stayed for one night. The lodge is beautiful with a nice garden. However the road to the lodge is quite difficult to reach if it raining or has rained. If you managed the off triad it is very close to the airport. Service and staff are very friendly. Dinner and breakfast is very good.

Our stay at Olerai Lodge was simply perfect. A beautiful and peaceful setting, luxurious accommodation, excellent and abundant food, and exceptionally hospitable staff… I truly have no words to describe this wonderful experience. The comfortable and spacious rooms are beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, well maintained, with a large, comfortable bed. Everything is very clean, and upon arrival we were greeted with a personalized welcome card in the room. The friendly staff is always available. They welcome you as a friend, not just as a guest. I highly recommend this accommodation!

We spent five days at this lodge and it was an amazing experience from beginning to end. The property is very quiet and relaxing, and everything was impressively clean and well maintained. The staff were outstanding throughout our stay – always friendly, professional, and ready to help with anything we needed. The food was excellent at every meal: fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. Overall, this was exactly the kind of place we were hoping for: calm, spotless, and run by people who clearly care about their guests. We highly recommend this lodge and would be very happy to stay here again

At the start of our safari trip in Tanzania, after a long journey (more than 24 hours since we left home), we spent our first night at Olerai Lodge — and what a lovely surprise it was! We arrived around 11pm, expecting a quick check-in and rest, but instead were greeted with a beautifully prepared dinner. It was a gesture that truly moved us. The food was excellent, and breakfast the next morning was equally memorable. We especially recall the kindness and professionalism of the pastry chef, who took the time to ask for our feedback on the freshly baked breads and pastries. To our great surprise, he even prepared a traditional Portuguese custard tart (pastel de nata) — a thoughtful and delicious touch! The Lodge itself is beautifully decorated, both inside and out, wonderful rooms with great attention to detail. Sadly, we didn’t get to enjoy it fully, as we left early the next morning for our first game drive. But we noted the high quality of the Lodge and its relaxing atmosphere — and we’ll definitely would return if we have the change. Highly recommended !

My partner and I stayed in this lodge the night before we flew to Zanzibar. It’s a perfect place to rest and and destress at the pool. The team is very professional and kind. Cocktails and food are from the highest standard we had in Tanzania and is something we looked out too for quite a while!

From the first moment at Bokerai Lodge, we knew it would be special — and it exceeded all expectations. The rooms were elegant and comfortable, the food delicious and perfectly prepared, but above all, it was Annette and Peter who made our stay unforgettable. They were always present and attentive. When we had a small issue with the shower, they acted with such professionalism and speed: they offered us another room to shower right away and resolved the problem in less than half an hour. That level of service is hard to find. Truly an amazing place — I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality, care, and an unforgettable experience.

Bokerai Lodge was, without a doubt, the best accommodation we experienced during our entire trip. The food was absolutely flawless, the rooms were stunning and spotless, but what truly made the difference was the outstanding service provided by Annette and Peter. They followed us with care and professionalism from the moment we arrived until the very last minute. When the shower in our room unexpectedly stopped working, they not only gave us access to another room to wash up within 20 minutes, but also managed to fix the issue immediately. Their efficiency and dedication were simply incredible. If you’re considering where to stay — stop looking and choose this place. You will be in the best hands!
