Awful experience. Booked directly through their website as they had a special discount. When I arrived at the location the owner said I owed him about 40% of the total price. I thought I had made a mistake. Went to recheck the website and the official discount was still there for all other available rooms. He claimed that discount had just been set up by him, and that I did not purchase at that price and basically said we would be kicked out half way through as we were not paying the total amount. You book per room, and I had booked a room that had 3 beds, and the a/c was broken, so he moved us to a smaller room with just 2. He still rented the other one despite the a/c being broken that made loud noise at night that woke us up on the subsequent nights. Ahead of our stay I had contacted them for queries on special check in times, they never replied. Italian is the only language spoken. If you look at the website it says breakfast included and there is a picture of a restaurant. You do not get a restaurant breakfast. A small tray with bagged bread, yoghurt and coffee is provided with a tetrapack juice. He also asked for the local tourist tax but he never issued a receipt for it and we had to pay cash. Google maps mentiones it's 20ish minutes away from nice areas like Porto Corvo but that is due to it calculating that the roads are for 90km/h. In reality they are small roads with no hard shoulder that are max 50 km/h so in reality getting there takes an hour.

We have pre-booked 2 nights at this hotel and paid in full in advance. We were 3 families in total and had 3 children with us, the smallest was 4 years old. The hotel refused to let us in (do the check-in) because we were 15 minutes late from the agreed time. This incident happened at 11pm after a 4-hour journey from Cagliari airport. We have exchanged several text messages with the hotel, explaining to them that we got lost, hence the delay and that we have 3 kids with us. One must be so inhumane to leave 3 families stranded in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere. Anyone reading this review please seriously consider booking somewhere else unless you want to face a similar ordeal throughout your holiday. It’s a shame that in 2023, such monsters still exist.
