Best amenities. Though the room is not big, I love how they cleverly make good use of every part of the room for functionality. Every space is not wasted and the TV shows the laundry usage situation so you don’t have to queue indefinitely at the laundry area for your turn. One thing to improve on could be having some hanging poles in the toilet so that we can hang our clothes to dry after washing. The dryer at the laundry area doesn’t dry the clothes completely. So we need to extend the dry mode a few more times hence many are hogging the washing machines. Still highly recommended.

I originally liked route inn the most in the business hotel chain. If you are traveling alone, you don't have to be so careful. Japan is grateful that clean business hotels are developing to medium-sized cities. However, in Honshu, route-in is often difficult to use by rail (car location), but in Hokkaido, route-in is often in front of the station, so it is easy to use. When you leave Asahikawa Station, which creates a comfortable space with plenty of trees, you can't get lost because the route in front of Grand Asahikawa Station rises in front of you. On the left side of the station, there is also an AEON MALL equipped with a cinema complex, so you can enjoy buying souvenirs, buying travel supplies, and watching road show movies on your travels. The good thing about the route inn is that you can watch paid satellite broadcast WOWOW for free on the TV in the room. The front desk is on the 3rd floor. It is not open 24 hours on the first floor (business hours 7:00 ～ 22:00, closed on January 1), but there is a convenience store ”Seiko Mart” with many supporters in Hokkaido. The room is quite decent, but the room is very small. It's difficult to walk with the suitcase spread out. However, Japanese hotels are not big. Clean every other day. Right beside to Asahikawa train station and entertainment district not so far away, easily can walk there. Using the Times car park right beside it, take the ticket and pay at the hotel check in counter tho not connected directly to the hotel.

I stayed ２ nights with my husband and wife to meet my friend in Asahikawa. It was very good, so I think I will be here next time I come. First of all, it is good to have a hot spring bath. This time it was summer, but if it was a winter snow season, I would like to thank you for the bath. It is very good to be able to sleep slowly in the public bath, not the unit bus in the room. The large bath was large and there were many washing places, and it was very comfortable. I was able to experience it this time with a ticket for rock bath. Jinkiskan Daikokuya and Izakaya Tenkin are all within walking distance... It seems like a suitable accommodation to go to Asahidake or Blue Lake Whitebeard Falls... Of course, the staff are friendly... I can't eat the late-night ramen provided by the hotel... There are good restaurants around. There's so much of it that my stomach hurts when I go to the hotel. I tried it one day and it's not bad. It's Soyu Ramen. I recommend the open-air bath and hot spring on the 10th floor.

I’m very surprised by the relatively low rating of this hotel. We had a very good experience here, and found the room to be spacious and comfortable (though fairly typical old-school Japanese hotel). Service was good overall and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located in the best part of Asahikawa, near the main train station and the very cool and fun shopping street. The hotel also has an outdoor parking lot located immediately behind the hotel. Our only hiccup was that we arrived slightly before the 1500 check in time (we arrived at 1440) and were told we had to wait until exactly 1500 to check in. This is Japan and I appreciate being a stickler for the rules, but sometimes good customer service is about making calculated exceptions. Maybe next time. We would certainly recommend this place to others.

Only reached late at night and left early the next morning, so didn’t really get to enjoy my stay there. But love the lamb barbecue shop nearby, if go during dinner time, there’s a long queue.
