Just have to say, that the hotel may be a little bit older, but it has not lost its charm in so many ways! Can’t beat that pool, the nightclub on the weekends, how close it is to the ocean, or even the rates in the summertime for that matter. The staff is so friendly and helpful, from the maid service all the way up to their general manager, Kristin, whom is not only GREAT at her job, but is also one of the nicest people you will ever meet, with the sunniest disposition! LOVE IT HERE!!!! You’d be foolish not to book a stay while you can, and I challengel anyone to visit and tell me that you don’t have the best time ever!!!

Consistency is the mark of a true professional. After 19 years at the helm, manager Kristin has never let us down, nor has her staff. I have been staying at the Empress for close to 20 years, (even stayed here after my wedding, held in the venue across the street). I’ve never been disappointed with the hotel, the staff, the services and overall cleanliness and personal accommodations. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! Thank you for always making our stay wonderful. This time around it was for business and pleasure. I didn’t want to come home as soon as I had to…. See you again!

It was a decent hotel and worked well for our weekend trip… we stayed on the third floor opposite of the club I would assume if we were close to the club it wouldn’t have been a good Stay The staff was vey nice and the Rooms were clean. The one thing I really didn’t like was that half the lobby turns into a back room for the club at night… it’s a cool lobby by to hang out in and it’s really not part of the club Def not a hotel for kids..

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at the Empress. Our room was very clean and the daily cleaning was very good. The common areas were also very clean and well maintained. The pool was great with LOTS of chairs for everyone. The free continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday was a great benefit. Some recommendations, have a few umbrellas at the pool and the pool “security” could be a bit less rigid and frightening. Thanks for making our stay GREAT!

Took an ocean front room. Lot's of street noise. Door to terrace hard to open. Also AC unit very noisy. But very convenient location. Across from the ocean and close to Stone Poney Summer Stage. Wish they had more guest parking. Had to pay $40 in the lot by the carousel.

The bartender who works at the pool named Luis was very nasty towards me, my friends and other few customers. He never said “hi guys my name is Luis and I’ll be your bartender!” He had a very nasty attitude and we won’t be back to this place! He is not cute, have no ass and he feels like he’s been hand made it by God and he’s wrong! I’d like to follow this incident with one of the managers and you will hear from me ‘cause we were there to have fun, we weren’t there to see Luis’s nasty faces and nasty attitude.

5stars every year for this hotel. It’s exceptionally clean, close to everything, and has the best amenities. Ask for Chrissy the manager she makes every stay perfect for us! Ocean view balcony recommendation and to say they go above and beyond for families is an understatement. If you want clean, convenient, and the best service this is it!
