Abigail's is professionally operated. Everything is neat, clean and in good repair. Best of all, Susan is a great cook and her breakfasts are consistently excellent. We have stayed here in past years and will continue to in 2025 and beyond. A fine B&B.

Innkeepers Susan and Adam do so much for the comfort of their guests. Going to the outdoor theater? A bag with two cushions and two blankets is waiting by the back door, along with a selection of umbrellas. Coming home from a play? Freshly baked cookies or cupcakes are on the sideboard, along with everything you need to make coffee or tea. Complimentary cans of soda are in the refrigerator. The towels are fluffy, the beds comfortable, the decor suits the house. There are rockers on the front porch and comfortable chairs in the living room. Susan's two-course breakfasts, sweet and savory, are feasts. You will not need lunch!

I loved everything about this place. It was impeccably tended, the Garden Room where I stayed was cozy and quiet and very comfortable. There were fresh baked cookies and a huge variety of tea. Susan is an excellent chef and her breakfasts were beautiful and delicious. On my last day I left before breakfast and Susan sent me off with a bowl of fresh fruit and freshly baked muffins. The location could not be better. It is an easy 15 minute walk to the theaters and to the downtown shops. When I arrived Susan recommended several places on the map for a variety of activities. As a lover of plants and landscaping I was also impressed with the grounds and had pleasant conversations with Susan about the variety of herbs and other plants.

Abigail's Bed and Breakfast is a nice home-base for visiting Ashland. From the moment you arrive, you're charmed by the cozy, period-piece furnishings that transport you to another era. The attention to detail is impeccable, making it a warm and inviting place to stay. One of the best touches? The freshly baked cookies that await you each day—they're a delicious treat that adds to the personal, homely feel. The hosts are incredibly gracious and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and cared for throughout your stay. Their warmth truly enhances the experience. Location-wise, it's perfect—only a 20-minute walk to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, making it super convenient for anyone looking to enjoy the local culture without the hassle of a long commute. If you're looking for a special, cozy, and convenient stay, Abigail's Bed and Breakfast is it! Highly recommend.

An outstanding stay. Lovely room, bed, pillows, amenities. Wonderful two course breakfast beautifully presented. Friendly and welcoming hosts. The building and gardens are charming. I spent a lot of time on the front porch in the mornings and the evenings when not going to plays or visiting the charming downtown area.

The breakfasts are amazing, the home is lovely, and the room comfortable and well appointed. The best thing however is all the little touches meant to make our stay perfect. There were loads of little things; from the snack bar with homemade and packaged treats, to the cushions to borrow to take to the theater, to the complete coffee set up in the room, everything was fantastic!

Family and friends have joined me in traveling to Ashland for over three decades. For the last ten years, we have annually stayed with Susan and Adam because of their wonderful bed & breakfast inn. Guests can immediately see that great care in the details is exhibited in all spaces --- from meticulous cleaning to thoughtful snacks and beverages. Before we even arrive, we begin salivating over Susan’s delicious two-course breakfasts, which are unforgettable! Adam and Susan keep current on the best restaurants to recommend and share their experiences on new places to visit. We appreciate the kindness and care we have received on each of our visits to Ashland. Thank you, Susan and Adam, for providing such amazing hospitality! Judy

Our stay at Abigail's B&B in Ashland was absolutely wonderful and memorable. we stayed for 5 nights and were treated with exceptional hospitality from our arrival until our departure. Susan and Adam were extremely gracious hosts so welcoming, so engaging. so helpful, so caring for their guests. They made us feel totally at home in their home. We loved Susans breakfasts and gathering around her beautifully set dining room table. for breakfast each morning. Wonderful conversations and delicious breakfasts, beyond gourmet. They were beautifully presented. As it turned out we had stayed at the same B&B 25 years ago when it was Hershey House with different owners. What a coincidence for us. Felt like we had stepped back in time. Their home , the furnishings, the garden were immaculatley cared for and the History of the 1906 home so well preserved. Their presence was personal but perfectly professional. Susan and Adam had put together a guide not only of their B&B but on Ashland, its History and all the sights in the nearby area for their guests. Restaurants, highlights , a labour of Love, extremly well researched and so helpful. We will definetly recommend Susan and Adam in their beautiful B&B to our friends . We hope to return . Our stay at Abigail's was a most wonderful addition to the Shakespeare Festival which was the reason for our visit. Thank you Susan and Adam. We loved staying with you. we loved meeting you. Susan was a great host making us feel welcome right away. Our room met expectations based on the pictures on their website. Loved our room's balcony which we used for an after dinner drink. Loved the homemade cookies that were available when we checked in. The breakfast of crustless quiche, salad, crispy bacon, sausage, blueberry coffee cake with a scoop of frozen yogurt was fabulous. My only suggestion would be to serve the savory course prior to the sweet course. The parking behind the inn was convenient.
