Fairfield by Marriott Kumamoto Aso

Aso Fairfield Hotel is located just outside Aso Station. It has an excellent location and is very close to Aso Volcano. The room has large windows overlooking the mountain scenery and Aso Train Station, and comes with free PARKING LOT. The hotel is very new but is more of a business hotel. There is no kitchen in the hotel. It is a pity that it only provides microwaves, ovens, coffee machines and other appliances for heating. It also provides simple instant noodles and snacks for tourists to purchase.

A formal business hotel, very close to the JR station. If you drive by car, there are plenty of parking spaces. The hotel does not have breakfast but there is a convenience store nearby.

The service attitude of the hotel staff is good and friendly. The location is close to the JR station. There is a concession stand in the hotel lobby, but there is no restaurant. There are a few shops nearby. The wooden decoration design of the room is novel.

Just a dozen meters in front of Aso Station, most people go to Aso from Fukuoka for a day trip, but I chose to stay for one night. This decision was right, making my trip easy and comfortable! There is no breakfast, but microwaves and ovens are provided for self-heating of food, and there are paid washing machines (it is very simple to scan and recharge with WeChat). The front desk has introductions and phone numbers of all nearby restaurants, and helped me make an appointment for "Kojiro" barbecue, which is a pure family-style charcoal barbecue, very delicious! The room faces the rice fields and mountains, which is super beautiful! Walking on the way to the restaurant under the pink sunset, this is the summer in Kyushu!
