Pretty place. Nice people. But in our opinion poor value for the price charged. Rooms a little more basic than appear in the pictures. A major feature is the pool, but this was “out of action” when we stayed - with no prior warning or offer to reduce our bill. On the plus side, the restaurant attached (but under separate management) provided us the best meal we have had in years!

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed 3 nights in. The room was full of character, the bathroom spotless, our meal in the Locanda restaurant superb and we even enjoyed the 15 minute uphill walk into Assisi! The staff were really helpful and friendly, especially Beatrice on reception and the breakfast room manager Petra. The grounds are peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended

Posizione ottimale, ambiente accogliente, camere pulite, vista pazzesca sulla Basilica e sulla valle, personale accogliente, colazione di qualità. Weekend praticamente perfetto. Complimenti! Consigliato per un weekend di relax

Beautiful hotel , very friendly staff, we had an excellent stay with our kids . We will certainly return one day . The restaurants are also very good . You can have perfect breakfast, a good lunch and have an aperitif or dinner . Very complicated to find something negative. We can just Thank you for this perfect stay.

Luogo incantevole, esteticamente molto curato, servizio purtroppo non all’altezza del prezzo pagato. Abbiamo soggiornato in una junior suite con soppalco, al piano di sopra non si respirava! In questi giorni la temperatura si è aggirata intorno ai 38 gradi. Io solitamente dormo col lenzuolo anche in piena estate…qui non ho chiuso occhio! Ci hanno proposto due ventilatori a torretta che a loro avviso avrebbero migliorato la situazione, bhe ne è arrivato uno vecchio stile alto sì e no 50cm, inaccettabile per un luogo di questo livello, dopo le nostre lamentele ci hanno cambiato la camera. Con 40 gradi quella camera non andrebbe venduta. Colazione con prodotti di ottima qualità servita al tavolo (non a buffet) , servizio un po’ “confusionario” non di certo impeccabile. Per scusarsi dell’accaduto ci hanno regalato una bottiglietta d’olio, un pacco di pasta e delle lenticchie. Ci saremmo aspettati uno sconto cospicuo sul conto. Personale molto gentile. Non credo torneremo

This was a beautiful and luxurious place to stay. Staff was very attentive. The restaurant was outstanding. Could walk to Assisi easily and view of the abbey from the B&B at night was astounding. Would recommend highly

Posto magnifico! Ogni angolo ha un suo particolare dettaglio,ed il servizio molto attento e preciso. Il contesto è surreale dato il panorama sulla Basilica.. Molto bello fare colazione nel loro dehors,con delle marmellate locali ed un buffet alla carta vario e gustoso! Consiglio di prenotare il tavolo per la cena se possibile.. può capitare che ci siano eventi privati e che non sia possibile cenare presso la struttura. La nostra camera davvero bella.. lo stile,il letto sul soppalco,il bagno rustico.. Nell'insieme è un luogo che rilassa.. che ti fa sentire bene! Super super consigliato! Forse l'unico punto su cui mi sento di fare un'osservazione è la piscina e la zona posteriore in cui ci sono i lettini.. non rispecchiano a pieno la bellezza di questo posto. In ogni caso,secondo me,di strutture cosi belle,non ce ne sono in zona.. 🙂 Prenotate qui ed il soggiorno varrà la pena!

Una bellissima location gestita nel peggiore dei modi. Siamo stati qui per un compleanno, di bello ricordiamo solo la bellissima vista su Assisi. Il servizio è inesistente, i prezzi sono folli per la qualità e la quantità del cibo ,per non parlare del momento della torta che è stata lanciata sul tavolo, ma non solo... il tutto senza servire nulla da bere al momento del brindisi ( è stata la festeggiata a chiedere ai camerieri di portarlo). Con noi c'era una coppia di ragazzi che aveva preso in considerazione l'idea di scegliere la location per il loro matrimonio, ma sono rimasti sconvolti dalla gestione. Quando si organizzano determinati eventi si DEVE essere PREPARATI,COMPETENTI e PRESENTI nel coordinare le dinamiche della sala, non si può permettere un totale disastro.

Definitely recommend. Was greeted by Marguerite, who was friendly and informative. I was allowed an early check in. The room was chic and clean, the bed comfortable. The location is ideal as it is just outside the gates of Assisi. Hope to return.
