Ok Hotel
Main annoyance was arriving at Hotel at 6.30 from a long overnight flight to be advised that I couldn't check in until 12.00, however I could access ny room immediately on payment of 28 USD.
This means that my room was available ( a large Hotel clearly not fully booked ) and I would have paid perhaps a 10USD premium but 28 was ridiculous so I refused. Poor money grabbing i thought..
In addition, wayer came out of bath tap discoloured, very off putting.

Hotel antigo mas confortável
Hotel antigo, mas bonito. Café da manhã fraco, com poucas opções mas atendia o nosso propósito. Bem localizado no centro histórico, mas eles não aconselham andar de noite na rua. Fiquei frustrada que meu espanhol é fraco e ninguém da recepção sabia falar português nem Ingles que é a língua universal, outra coisa ruim também é que não limparam meu quarto no domingo, dizendo que eu não tinha deixado a etiqueta na porta para permitir a limpeza, mas é mentira porque eu deixei. No geral foi boa, indico o hotel! Era o melhor da região.

My wife used to work in Asunción because a US cooperation program. She always stayed at this hotel, since then when we visit Paraguay and stay in Asu we book this hotel! Downtown located, historic buildings, restaurants, museums and governments offices! Comfortable rooms and safety neighborhood.
