Atami New Fujiya Hotel

The toilet in the room was against the sink, and the toilet paper was placed behind it, so it was difficult to use. Also, when I went to the shared bathroom in the morning, there was no toilet paper in some places, so I would have liked a little more attentive service.

The room was small and rundown, but the dinner and breakfast buffets were amazing, probably the best in Atami.

There was a fireworks show at night so there were no rooms in the whole Atami. I finally found this one. There were mostly locals, probably because it was cheaper. No one at the front desk could speak English, so I had to use translation software to communicate. It was a big mistake. When I got to the room I was given, there were other people's luggage. They probably hadn't checked out yet. Fortunately, the other person was not there, otherwise it would be even more embarrassing. It took more than an hour to get another room... The room was very old Japanese style with a strong tatami smell, but the hygiene was fine. There was an open-air bath on the top floor, B2, and a large bath. Breakfast needs to be booked. When we arrived, we could only make an appointment for 9 o'clock the next morning. There wasn't much food, but at least we could eat enough. The hotel is in a good location. It is within a 10-minute walk from the beach where you can watch the fireworks and Kinomiya Shrine. It takes only 5 minutes to get to the station by taxi.

Although the hotel is old and a certain distance from the station, it is still worth the money. The hotel is close to the open-air hot spring, and the hot spring water quality is also very good. In addition, there are many entertainment facilities. Atami is also a famous tourist spot and is worth a visit.

It was a very retro hotel! The toilets and rooms had a unique smell. I recommend the outdoor toilets because they are cleaner than the ones in the rooms. The appeal of this hotel is that it is close to the sea and the price is reasonable. I recommend that you can make a reservation for karaoke, as it is free.

The Japanese-style room can sleep 4 people, which is very spacious for my son and I. But it is a bit old overall. There were so many people at the fireworks festival that day, and it felt like a large family hot spring bath in China.
