There was a fireworks show at night so there were no rooms in the whole Atami. I finally found this one.
There were mostly locals, probably because it was cheaper. No one at the front desk could speak English, so I had to use translation software to communicate.
It was a big mistake. When I got to the room I was given, there were other people's luggage. They probably hadn't checked out yet. Fortunately, the other person was not there, otherwise it would be even more embarrassing.
It took more than an hour to get another room...
The room was very old Japanese style with a strong tatami smell, but the hygiene was fine. There was an open-air bath on the top floor, B2, and a large bath.
Breakfast needs to be booked. When we arrived, we could only make an appointment for 9 o'clock the next morning. There wasn't much food, but at least we could eat enough.
The hotel is in a good location. It is within a 10-minute walk from the beach where you can watch the fireworks and Kinomiya Shrine. It takes only 5 minutes to get to the station by taxi.
