Service attitude is average. The main reason is that there were serious errors in the photos posted by Ctrip and the hotel on the room. Later, I paid more for the room myself and stayed in the type of room I originally wanted. It is an outdoor hot spring room. very good. Of course, Ctrip also helps subsidize a little bit.

"Japanese-style room with bathtub" was seriously misled by the picture of this room type!!! There is actually no balcony open-air bath, only indoor bathroom bathtub. Someone mentioned it in a previous review, but it was still a pitfall. I remind you again if you need it, please book a room with open-air bath in the title!!! The hotel's English level is very poor, and I don't want to waste my breath to argue, so I just think I'm unlucky. The privacy design of the outdoor hot spring bath is very poor, and there is basically no cover. The hotel's free shuttle bus is rare and requires reservations, but the phone can't be reached, which is very inconvenient.

The room is large, the breakfast is good, and there is a shuttle bus, but you must make a reservation with the hotel in advance. They will wait for you at the station. The hot spring is on the roof. Note that the men's and women's bathrooms will be changed regularly. The price/performance ratio is good.

The building is a bit old and the location is slightly remote. The decoration and style are traditional Japanese hot springs. You can enjoy friendly and attentive service. The rooms and the open-air bath on the top floor have sea views.

It was raining heavily before we arrived at the hotel. We were soaked. The front desk service was very good and they gave us towels as soon as possible.

Overall, this is a good Ryokan. Personally, I will give it 4-4.5 over 5 but since TripAdvisor cannot have decimal points, I will give it 4. First, the ryokan is located very close to the sea, perfect for visitors who want to see the fireworks. However, because it's close to the sea, you must take the bus to other places. The ryokan itself only has buses to Atami station. The hospitality of the ryokan is perfect as they will pay attention to many details and potential needs by you. Even if you have some emergency issues, they will try to help you fix them up ASAP The Onsen is good but not perfect due to its small. However, they have the outdoor onsen which faces the sea, which means you can see the fireworks when you enjoy the onsen, which is perfect. The overall food is good but not perfect as well. In conclusion, I will recommend it for those who want to stay in the Ryokan which can see the fireworks directly. For those who want a perfect hotel, you might need to find another one.

I have stayed here several times, and the friendly and courteous service is always soothing. Breakfast and dinner are served in the room, and the quality and quantity of the meals are very satisfying. The boiled golden-eyed snapper for dinner is particularly delicious. Also, the breakfast of sticky ingredients mixed with rice is invigorating. I always stay in a room with an open-air bath, but there is also a large public bath on the top floor. I haven't experienced it yet, but I've heard that it's a special seat during the fireworks display, as the launch site is right in front of the room. There is also a shuttle from Atami Station, which is very convenient.

The staff of the inn introduced the inn information and Atami sightseeing information on YouTube "Hide TUBE * TV" on the day before the stay, and I enjoyed watching it very much. I wasn't very interested in sightseeing in Atami, but there were some places I wanted to visit. I really enjoyed the interesting videos of the staff. By the way, the room on the 6th floor had an ocean view. Unfortunately the weather was fine, but I enjoyed watching the ferries from various islands for a long time (I like vehicles). Neither the indoor bath nor the open-air bath is very large, but it was a good bath and the sea breeze was pleasant. However, I personally thought that a stand (about 40 to 60 cm in length and width) like a washbasin installed in front of each washroom in the bath was an obstacle or unnecessary. It was difficult to use because the body was separated from the water supply and shower by about 50 cm depending on the table. Some people put their feet on the table and twisted their bodies to avoid the table. I thought that it was designed by a person who does not use baths and hot springs very often. The larger open-air bath is for women only at night. In addition, a hair dryer is not placed in the wash area of the indoor bath as a measure against corona (used in the room). I understood this point and did not feel any inconvenience. Both dinner and breakfast were room meals. This time, a veteran Nakai-san prepared meals with a room from the time of arrival. The food was delicious, Mr. Nakai was friendly and kind, and I enjoyed talking with him very much. He made tea before preparing breakfast, and I was happy to think that it was a full-fledged Japanese inn. I had coffee in the coffee shop before and after breakfast in the room, which also brought me to the table instead of putting it in by myself with a machine. Atami just passed by as usual, but this time I realized the goodness of Atami after staying at this inn. I definitely want to use this inn full of hospitality again.
