Hotel representative referred us to a nearby restaurant for delivery (Metro Diner) and we never received our food, we were left with an $82 bill for food we never received & the hotel could only apologize. Hotel parking is hectic, parking availability is limited. Hotel room should’ve came with a microwave.

Booked a stay for an Elton John concert. First time staying at this property. Room was nice, location was great. But really wanted to take the time to write a review because of the phenomenal experience at check in with Toni-Ann. She was so sweet, joyful, and helpful and made the entire experience that much better right from check-in. I truly believe when things start off good from the get go you’re more than likely to keep that energy going for the rest of the trip - so thank you Toni-Ann!

I had a very pleasant two-night stay at the Staybridge Suites Atlanta Airport. This is a well-run airport hotel. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. GM Maile was kind enough to upgrade me to a one-bedroom suite on the top floor on the quieter side of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was tasty and regularly replenished. Kudos to Operations Manager Destiny who went out of her way to be helpful. I look forward to an upcoming stay around the end of April.

Unfortunately, due to this time of Covid, many establishments have suffered greatly in lots of areas. Having worked in the hotel industry for a number of years in the past, I know that service is nothing like it used to be. However, I expect better than the bare minimum from one of the top names in the industry. For starters, The Breakfast bar is a joke, and the attendant has attitude problems. Breakfast is supposed to run from 6:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. With a limited selection already, I think it's poor business to have empty chafing dishes that need replenishing, and the attendant is sitting in the computer printing area on her phone! Then when she finally comes to check on her station, it's clear that she feels WE are inconveniencing HER! She loudly announced there would be no more meat to go on the bar! Mind you, it wasn't even 8:00 a.m. yet! I have largely decided to go down to the the Waffle House on the corner for my breakfast for the duration of my stay. In addition to the problems with breakfast, this is supposed to be a ”No Smoking” area. There's been a strong odor of **** being smoked BOTH NIGHTS that I've been here. Security is in place in the evening, but I doubt they're even trying to monitor the property and goings on...I was trained by Marriott's best in the early 1970's, and know that both father and son would be sad to see what's become of their legacy. They both were very ”hands on” and proud of what their family had achieved...

I stay in a lot of hotels…mostly Marriott. This hotel does not meet the Marriott standard. We checked in late from flying all day and almost left and found somewhere else, but decided to stay because we were so tired. I asked the receptionist to give us a quiet room, he kept saying he would and it would be a high floor. The room was on floor 5 (not high), right in front of elevators. They had a family reunion and a conference going on and at 11 pm it was so loud! The room never got cool, and the bed was awful! Like I said before, I mostly stay in Marriott’s and typically love the mattress’s but this was not Marriotts normal mattress. It also looked like it had been updated but whoever did this remodel did shotty work.

We took our 9 year old to his first two Braves games and stayed at this hotel for 4 days. We had never stayed here before, but a relative recommended the hotel. The room was clean and smelled nice. I always check the sheets and pillows. The only negative was the white thin coverlet looked pretty on top, but was covered in paint smudges or marker of some kind on the underside. We just removed it and set it to the side. The staff, for the most part, was incredibly nice and very helpful. Crystal and Marianna at the front desk were absolutely wonderful! Warm smiles and very helpful with any questions. The breakfast each day was great! The woman serving was all smiles and kept everything well stocked. Our housekeeper was super friendly and traded our towels and washcloths as well as replenished our toilet tissue and in room coffee. The only major negative to our trip was the night counter employee, Josh. He had a terrible attitude and was disrespectful and rude. Not just to us. We observed his bad attitude on our second night and experienced it ourselves on our last night. Out of respect for my son, I waited until he was comfortably back in our room before I returned to the lobby to get Josh’s name. We had been very nice and friendly when we originally entered the lobby and even asked Josh several questions about his day. He ignored us completely, and we were standing directly in front of him at the counter trying to pay for some drinks. When he returned our change he set it down behind the plastic barrier and then ignored us. We couldn’t get hold of it and asked if he could push it forward. He continued to ignore us as if we weren’t there. Keep in mind we were literally standing across the counter from him at the check in desk. My wife ended up pushing on the plastic barrier until it touched the register so she could slide the dollars out. The entire time he ignored us, even as we were asking him to please slide the money under the plastic. In an effort to avoid a conflict in front of my son we simply said, “Well then. I guess have a good night.” He still didn’t respond…. When I returned to the lobby, his excuse was, “..I have had to deal with these baseball people all week.” I was wearing a Braves shirt…. There was more with Josh, but I have made my point. So, to wrap it up, Josh is a terrible front desk representative for this hotel and needs to be moved where he has no guest contact. The rest of the staff and management are great!

GGuest UserHotel is beautifully decorated. Art deco is nice, but the rooms are severely lacking in amenities. No fridge, microwave or mini bar. When you're in a city typically you eat out a lot and sometimes you wanna hold on to leftovers for later so that was kind of a bummer. The location was great, but the noise was very hard for sleeping. The road is constantly noisy and they put us in a room right above the front door so it was constant talking and cars pulling in. Nice hotel just a shame we didn't have the best visit
GGuest UserI am a Marriott Platinum Elite member and have been loyal to Marriott for 7 years. I’ve stayed at Marriott chains all over the country & this location has the worst customer service & staff by FAR. First of all the security for the hotel attempted to hit on me during our first interaction but I kindly turned him down bc I am married. Very unprofessional when you’re at work! Secondly upon checking in the room, there were stains on the curtains, couch and a cigarette burn hole on the bar stool. No seats for the balcony or any privacy on the balcony. The kitchen could’ve been cleaner & the sheets on the bed were not the correct size, there was a mattress cover but no fitted sheet. We didn’t even complain! The real issue came when we were woken up at 8:30am by security BANGING on the door like the Swat team. He literally woke me and my daughter up and was at the door telling my husband that we were smoking and that he could smell it and that we needed to leave the property and would be charged a $500 fine! I immediately told him that we were not smoking and that we smell smoke too and my husband had an incense burning to block the smoke smell from getting to my daughter. We are not tattle tells so we did not care to call downstairs to make it an issue, it was easier to light the incense. We literally travel with these incense bc sometimes there are pet or smoke smells at some of these hotels. The security guard seemed to not care about what I was telling him so I told him not to come back to my room without a manager. He came back twice WITHOUT the manager, said the manager was unavailable and brought a luggage cart telling us we needed to leave or he was going to call the police! I told him to call them bc I was not leaving without a refund. He kept lying to his manager on the phone saying that we were refusing to leave but not telling him what I was saying which was COME BACK WITH YOUR MANAGER. The security guy was extremely rude & aggressive and needs to be FIRED. The manager FINALLY came up to the room 20 min later smh and when he did I offered him to come inside and smell or take a look bc we had nothing to hide. He said he could smell smoke but not tell what it was and I informed him we had an incense burning. He asked us to put it out and said that we couldn’t burn incense or light candles at this hotel. That was my first time hearing a no incense or candle burning policy from Marriott. He told us we were fine and to enjoy the rest of our stay without even addressing the rude behavior from security. I told him we would be checking out immediately and calling Marriott customer service for a full refund for being woken up and harassed. I called customer service as I was checking out to file a complaint and ask for assistance with getting a refund. Well here it is a week later and the hotel STILL hasn’t given me a refund or returned my deposit! Customer service team said the manager said he would not be returning my funds so I’ve escalated it to
JJennifer Au Yeungthis is a really really really good hotel. great room, ambiance, cleanliness, facilities, service, foods and it is near from the airport. you can see aircraft outside of the hotel because it’s beside of delta airlines hub office. all in all it was a great experience. i love the structure of the hotel specially the interior designs! kuddos to the employees they are very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Good Job!!! i’ll be definitely come back. thank you for the great experience.
GGuest UserWe spent 8 days in the hotel and it was wonderful. There is so much to do for everyone, in walking distance. The Aquarium, centennial park, civil rights museum, coca cola museum, restaurants and shopping. Its the best hotel breakfast Ive had in years. The hotel is clean and the staff is amazing. Ms. Ruby has the best hospitality I've seen. She knows you by name and always checks in to make sureyou have what you need. Ms Rhonda and Ms. Shamon do an awesome job with breakfast. The security guards and vallet are very friendly and attentive. The only downfall was slightly low water pressure in the bathrooms. Excellent overall experience and I would stay here again.
GGuest UserThis Hotel is in a great Location. The front desk staff are meh. Not very friendly. The Breakfast is pitiful, sausage sitting in a pan full of grease, I know sausage is greasy, but I’ve never seen it served sitting in a pan full of greased. So not appetizing at all. The first day the French toast sticks were stuck together and half cooked. Fruit bowl never refilled. Charging $15 for that is insane!! I will say the Breakfast attendants are sweet and helpful. The parking is ridiculous, I have to pay $45 per day for an attendant to go park my car 50 feet away. That’s just taking advantage of people. I should be able to park my own car instead of being rushed out of my car trying to grab all my things, shopping bags, etc. Hallways are very loud throughout the night. Ghetto guests allowed to say the worst cuss words and talk any way they want to loudly in front of other guests and Children. I finally had to say something to this one girl. This is a family friendly Hotel as the Aquarium, Coke Museum, Centennial Park are all located within walking distance. Hotel staff shouldn’t let crap like this happen or continue. Good luck if you need towels, an extra blanket, or whatever, Housekeeping doesnt clean or replenish anything and that was on my third day. You have to call and ask for it, but the phone doesn’t work in the room and I had to use my cellphone to call the front desk. I had to go get it myself and the guy couldn’t get into the linen closet cause someone locked the door and they didn’t have a key. He had to go to an open room and get it from there, SMH. I paid over $200 a night to stay here and I’m very disappointed. Won’t be back. Will go stay at the overpriced, outdated, Westin instead and pay for an Uber to drive me and my family to where we got to go.
GGuest UserVery nice newer hotel. Service was ok. Security arrived quickly to reset the safe, though the maintenance staff couldn't fix my dripping shower faucet. They showed up right away, misdiagnosed the problem and said it would stop over time. It didn't. When I notified the front desk the next morning, they assured me that maintenance would be there to fix it. They never showed up again. Three days of hearing a dripping shower faucet...
Oh yeah, and don't get a room on the second floor near the fitness center. Gyms bros too weak to properly put down dumbbells. *****s letting them drop and thus rattling everything on the floor at all hours of the day and night.
RRonald BI arrived at Sonesta later in the evening after searching for a location that met my primary goals of being safe, proximity of the stores and services immediately surrouning it, and customer service of the staff because it always carries over into the cleanliness of the facility. The young lady working the desk (Shae) was very helpful and made my check-in process a breeze, she provided me her best reccomendations and infomration on the food locations immediately around the location, offered my options on floor of my choice for my room selection and even provided me information on the events within the city that night and the rest of the weekend, she alone made staying here feel safe and like home which refreshing and a comfort when travelling alone as I was. The beds were super comfortable and the oversized lounging couch that folds out into a sofa-bed gave me an in-suite feel though it was just a standard hotel room. The locations is right next to the interstate and in great proximity to the major attractions (world of coke, aquarium, NFL/MLS stadium and more) thank you Shae and Sonesta for a great stay!
XXIAOBINI think it's still good, it's still acceptable according to the price. The parking fee does not cost money. Compared to the previous stay, the parking fee is 30 knives. And I think it is quite safe. But before I saw someone talking about the nearby mall... Messi Department Store... like a domestic subway station... but the hotel is OK
YYINGClose to the airport, the surrounding is relatively deserted, there is a restaurant on the upstairs. The food tastes good. You can also sit in paradise and enjoy the plane taking off and landing. The environment is good, but the bills are always unclear and always overcharged. There is a Vietnamese restaurant driving around for 3 minutes, and the price is good and affordable. The room is large and the facilities are basically complete. However, for two consecutive nights, people knocked on the door inexplicably. It is not clear who it is, and it is impossible to open the door.
NNDLAStayed three nights this past weekend. The only thing I can say good is the room was nice. We checked in with a clerk who was polite though not overly welcoming. Our room was on the 3rd floor and the elevator was kinda scary, lots of loud grinding noises. Through our stay we learned the elevator was a problem, loud, jerky and when you tried to go to the first floor, the button light was broken, you had to press it 5 or 6 times before it would move, giving you time to wonder were you going to be stuck in it. Breakfast was ok. Typical for a mid-range hotel. The waffle mix was not good though. Had a very sour taste like it was old. The worst part of breakfast was the worker. She was RUDE! The first morning she said good morning and we responded and then she loudly said ”I'm down here cooking y'alls food, the least you could do is tell me good morning.” Then we heard her tell another guest he needed to return the serving spoon to the right spot because unless he was leaving her a tip (yes, there was a tip jar on the counter) she wasn't there to clean up after him. Our last morning there, she told my 19 year old daughter her shorts were too short and she could ask her to leave as she wasn't dressed. But the woman she was laughing and chatting with moments earlier in the cropped belly baring tank top was apparently just fine. There are signs asking guests to not wear PJ's to the breakfast area and SPECIFICALLY mentioned tank tops were not to be worn. Guess there are different rules for different people. Both days we returned to the hotel after being out our keys were deactivated. We had to go down to the desk to get them fixed (scary elevator!) and the desk clerks did it but were not apologetic at all for the trouble. Upon check in, I got a text saying housekeeping would service the room every 3 days. As we were only going to be there for 3 days, I inquired if I could request housekeeping services. The clerk said to just let them know when we would like service and they will send housekeeping. Our second morning, I stopped at the desk on our way out and asked to have to room serviced and notified them the showerhead had a leak that was spraying the ceiling and could maintenance take a look at it. This clerk was very nice and said she would take care of it. When we returned that evening after being gone all day, no one had been there. All I expected was the beds made, towels replaced and the trash emptied but that was apparently too much to ask. There were ice machines on the 1st, 3rd and 5th floors. The one on the 3rd floor (ours) gave very little ice and when I went to the other ones, neither worked at all. So if you stay here and want ice, bring your own. I did mention the housekeeping issue when we checked out and the older man at the desk apologized for the oversight. The worst though was when we got home. My daughter realized her glasses were missing and was thinking she left them on the bathroom counter at the hotel. She called and the clerk
