Most importat thing is that the sheets and towels were very clean. So, it would be fair to write that the room was mostly clean. The negatives are that there were stains on the carpet. I found a couple of toenail clippings near the garbage can kept in the bedroom area which grossed me out. The iron had a burnt piece of plastic on the side and the iron itself had a black smudge on it that made it almost impossible to use. I had to use the steam option to get the wrinkles out of our clothes. I can't put all the blame on the hotel for this.

Staff was not friendly and it seemed that even our checking in was an effort to them. When room was not cleaned the best that the staff could do was to provide new towels in the room. We were informed the room was not cleaned as we had left the do not disturb sign on the door. There in fact was a do not disturb sign on the door but it was removed when we left at 10 AM well before checkout time and there was no sign on the door when we returned to the room late in the afternoon. When pointed out to the general manager the next morning he only could say I don't know what happened. No concession was offered even though a sign in the room stated "We promise to make it right or you won't pay for that part of your stay".

When I got into the room, the night table was sticky, upon examination it looked as if someone had put a cup on the table top and the mark of the cup was still there and very sticky.....I proceeded to clean it, but by then, I wondered what else was dirty.....the armchair and the foot rest were also dirty from foot prints and wear and tear....Since the only thing that really matters to me when I stay in a hotel is CLEANLINESS, this did not pass muster. So I was quite disappointed especially because the room ended up being $91.49...not so cheap for this town. I also want to mention that someone rang my room at 3 AM....by the time I got to the phone no one was there....I called the front desk, but they said they hadn't called anyone.....So I got awakened in the middle of the night...not what I was looking for...... Would not come back.

This hotel is hard to locate. There weren't many cars in the parking lot so we were concerned about that but we realize we were travelling in an off-season. We asked the night clerk how to get to Augusta National Golf Club and she had no idea what we were talking about. She said she had been asked that question before, DUH!! Being off season, I think the rate was a little high or maybe it was all the extra fees and taxes (total of $17 in fees and taxes). Breakfast was very good as we have found with most Comfort Inn & Suites.

Hotel was very clean and staff was very nice. My only complaint was the breakfast, it was not good. Very dry and not enough hot food.

Relatively new construction simple motel with adequate rooms but poor communication from manager and grumpy front desk. Ice machine broken. Crowded breakfast setup. Small lobby with equipment boxes covering part of one wall. Near lots of restaurants.

The front desk staff specifically KP were very accommodating. The breakfast manager Ms. Frankie was wonderful. The breakfast variety and the selections available was fantastic.
