AAlexis ShopThe service was really good, and the owner of the lodge was very accommodating. There was a little bit of conflict about the promo online, but they managed to give us the best service that they could. The facility was near the beach, only a 2 or 3 minute walk, and you could enjoy the view and beach. Also, they offer paluto or you can buy outside foods; they are just walking distance to the resto, and there is an ATM machine 5 minutes away from the facility, which is convenient, isn't it? I really recommend this lodge; if we're going back there, we will still choose to book there.

GGuest UserFantastic experience. Beautiful resort with a private mile long beach, swimming pool and Jacuzzi… Rice terraces and farms belonging to the resort in one of the most beautiful areas in the Philippines… Swiss/German Management and Ownership… Sustainability and preserving nature is omnipresent. The dining area is beautiful and obviously specialized on vegan food but also all kind of food is available in the MIHASA Restaurant including good wine and spirits… Also impressing is the perfect Starlink Internet System…

GGuest UserOur expectations were low, but what the f***? We booked the ”Premier Suite” which was described in the website as a room ”with an en-suite toilet and bath with hot & cold rain shower stocked with natural toiletries.” The room was also claimed to be put together ”with a keen eye for detail to appeal to your epicurean taste buds yet a feel not far away from home.” They claim that the room has a ”private balcony with a view of the sea and the lush mountainside.” I don't think that's entirely accurate. . . Going to this place was a great ordeal. To be fair, they were helpful in processing our S-PASS. Unfortunately, we were not informed beforehand that the road going to their place was closed. So we had to circle back and traverse the Pantabangan road. We were delayed for more than 3 hours. We called them and asked if there were any restaurants open nearby their place since we were really hungry and we don't want to stop over causing more delay. They informed us that the restaurant beside their resort was open. We arrived at around 5pm only to find out that the restaurant beside them was closed and does not serve on weekdays. After more than 10 hours of driving, we had to go back to Baler centro to look for food. After 30 minutes of looking for a decent restaurant, we decided to just drive thru Jolibee Baler. That was probably the saddest chickenjoy we've ever tasted. So yeah, we returned to the place to finally rest and freshen up but we found out that the only ”toiletries” they had was a shower gel. So we had to go back again to Baler centro to buy essentials at 9pm. The road btw is very dark since there were no lightposts. It was the worst. We just want to highlight some weird things in the room that doesn't make sense. For one, the toilet smells musty, probably due to the fishport nearby. Another is the TV which does not really have any chanels. The balcony doesnt really give a clear view of the sea since the resort is on the other side of the road across the ocean. Lastly, the ”toiletries” were bit of a scam. We just prayed that the breakfast was good but then again... they served cold bread. We didnt really expect much from this place since the whole country just came from a pandemic. We really wanted to give a good review and look at the brighter side but really, all we remember are the stress from staying at this place. It was horrible. Traumatic. If you can't deliver basic hospitality, might as well close down. Sorry, but we should have just claimed for a refund.

995CherylAnneDMillion-dollar view roof deck in the morning. So gorgeous view from the hotel. Clean, fresh, cool vibe. Shakalohana! May beach as likod. Very private and close in nature. The reward for all the hectic days from work has paid off. They have a ”live” band at night. Making the new normal more normal than ever. I have appreciated the smooth winding travel that led me here. They have free breakfast too.

GGuest UserWe are a family of 5 and we stayed at the Jr Suite and Pacifica Suite. It was easy to talk to the personnel who handle the reservations thru viber. Transaction was smooth, and my requests were accommodated. Jr Suite room was ideal for my 3 children. Their room had 2 beds and the sofa was neatly set up as another bed for my youngest kid. There was a sink and the bathroom consists of a shower and toilet. The pacifica suite has a beautiful view of the sea at the second floor. It has a mini kitchen, receiving area, a spacious bathroom with shower, toilet, bathtub, plus couple’s sink, and the bedroom has a king sized bed. I noticed that some rooms/portions of the hotel are undergoing repairs, but the work does not disrupt the operations nor the peaceful setting. The food takes a bit long to be served, probably because of the care given to prepare them. The food was consistently filling, scrumptuous, and delightfully presented. The staff is friendly, courteous, works with care and appears to love what they do. It’s in the manner that they interact with guests and surroundings. This is true from the front desk to the lifeguards to the restaurant attendants and housekeeping personnel. Costa Pacifica does not have a spa but we enjoyed the in-room massage. I played my own relaxing music, and they took care of the rest of the ‘spa feel’. The place has a long stretch of clean beach that is ideal for surfing and strolling (during low tide). There are instructors and photographers in the area (non Costa Pacifica staff), and you can avail of surf lessons for a fixed rate of P500/hr per head, or avail of unli-photos for a fair price of P200/head. My kids had fun learning how to surf! It was our first time to visit Baler, Aurora - and it’s such an amazing place! The people take pride in their heritage, and you will surely feel the hospitality in and out of Costa Pacifica. TIP: Ensure your vehicle is well-maintained and ready for the terrain and winding roads on the last 2 hours of your travel from CLEX. If your vehicle needs high octane gas (97-100), I suggest you fill up and/or prepare. But the scenic route is so worth the trip!

GGuest UserThe owner of the lodging house was very accommodating. They didn't take advantage of their guess instead offered/suggested something for a better option. In general, the people of Baler were not opportunists. The money I spent was fair enough, but for those who want a more relaxing venue, spend a little bit more to get a beachfront venue. I also noticed that all of the tourist spots that I visited were lack of cleanliness. I think the local government should do something about this. Maybe it is fair enough if the local government will collect an environmental fee for each guess of 50 pesos and this will cover all the tourist spots of Baler (including Ermita Hill and others that have entrance fees). This fund will be used for the maintenance, materials, and salary of the cleaner. Set aside corruption for the betterment of Baler. I just want to add, that the entrance fee for the Museum is too high.

TtitotintinThe staff was really friendly and helped us so much. The room was clean and the bathroom was quite big. The location is a little far from the beach but you can find try cycles just in front of the hotel. The price is reasonable for what you get.
