A huge shoutout for the night shift worker kostas on ensuring me and my friends were safe and no trouble was occurring. Our flight had been cancelled and he went out of his way to get us a hotel for the night and knocked some money off for us. I asked him “why do you do it go out your way for other people?” His response was to make sure you lot have the best experience possible. And also very friendly bar staff and drinks were cheap too.

Had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms as spacious and clean. The breakfast was phenomenal, staff is super attentive. The rooftop pool is fantastic, you can order drinks and food and pay once you’re ready to leave. Only minus point was that i ordered bathrobes through the tablet in the room and never got them, iron i asked for was a bit old and it was difficult to regulate the temperature.

We came in October half-term. We booked a standard room as this was our 4th trip abroad this year so we needed to budget a bit. I would say if this is your only holiday, or if you can, upgrade. We had very little privacy on the balcony and a side sea view. Our main view was overlooking the side of the Italian restaurant building- which wasn’t wonderful. The rooms are modern and comfortable. There are plenty of power outlets, a hairdryer, a fridge, a decent bathroom with a good shower. The design of the bathroom is one which doesn’t soak the floors either. I also liked the blue nightlight on the wall which stayed on at night as I don’t like the room completely dark. My husband and I were happy with our beds but our teenage son was not so happy with his cot/ sofa bed. It was quite small for him and he complained a lot about it and it hurt his back. We were bed and breakfast. Breakfast was certainly nothing to write home about. I like healthy food. This was mainly fried, greasy, cheap food; processed meat; basic pastry; unappetising fruit from the discount stand or from the tin and a pot of porridge - which was more like gruel. The bread was ok but there was no hygienic means of serving it. The catering staff all looked like they needed a good wash too! I was glad we were not half-board. The staff were also rude and argued with each other creating an unsettling atmosphere. Many were not Cypriot: cheap labour and they clearly resented their situation. It was uncomfortable. It was even hard to find and clean, prepared tables and Rheeya restaurant was grubby. By the sixth day I couldn’t face another god-awful breakfast and walked to Costa up the road! Breakfast was made worse by the horrendous drone of music blasting out from the speakers: the likes of Ronan Keating, Foreigner, Roxette, Michael Bolton etc just to ruin your holiday vibe and put you in a mood for the day. The hideous music, which sounded like a Mother’s Day gift CD from 1997, persisted around the pool during the day too: depressing and endless; totally destroying any holiday vibe. The awful music was so loud that it even blasted into our room so we not want to open the balcony door. We mainly just went to the beach to avoid it. Further along the beach to avoid the music! The beach was nice and clean, but be aware that it is not part of the hotel and not free! The sun loungers and umbrella are a standard cost of €2.50 an item. The beach belongs to the municipality. You don’t need to bring beach / pool towels with you as these are given by the hotel. Some are quite faded and worn but nevertheless it saves you packing them and you can replace them when wet or dirty. The spa area is the best part of the hotel: professional and relaxing with pleasant staff. It was a shame the steam room was broken but we booked a massage. My husband loved his and I enjoyed mine. The only issue I had was we paid for 75 minutes and I was done after 66. I don’t know if this was because it was the special o

Very beautiful designs, pool and view on it is amazing, nice balcony with big chairs, I liked a lot a window in a bathroom which you can close if you wish. Literally everything you wish. Iron inside the room was very good plus. Breakfast with beautiful view and big choice from buffet and a-la cart. Very helpful and respectful staff! We had problems with our door late in the night and they helped us several times to fix it, even though this issue was quite annoying. Actually everything we asked - they helped us! We asked to change the room for the more expensive one and they also fixed it even the hotel was fully booked.
Very silent inside the room and speaker in the bathroom was nice add on. The only thing which we was not amazed was the dinner - didn’t feel well after it two times, breakfast was much better. Hotel is super fresh, just opened, rooms are still smelling like brand new furniture.
Location is nice! It took us literally 5-7 min to come to the bars street and 5 min down to go to the beach (next to kaliva beach bar), has a direct road through the parking next to the red supermarket, which we didn’t see in the beginning.
Everything is really designed for two. A lot of couples, nice contingent, no kids and full relaxation. I would recommend to visit for sure ❤️ and amazing photos as a plus.

Bad : outdoor pool and private deluxe pool not heated and unusable in my opinion, indoor spa pool very cold ( but can be used ), coffee machine in every room but you pay for the coffee capsules, no actual direct sea view from the deluxe partial sea view rooms (only from the balcony).
Overall good, but can be improved, I wouldn’t come again until they lower prices or address issues.

Hotel is clean and breakfast is super good. Pool bar service is nice and there are enough sun beds for all, no need to reserve beds at early morning. Noise coming from other rooms are clear and loud, you can hear what they speak even they speak at normal volume, this was only thing I didnt like. Luckily our neighbour was older couple, so no big deal.

OO5267KUjoannedWe stayed in a suite off site. It was very spacious and had recent been renovated. Lovely shower area and great continuous flowing water. Only draw back for this accommodation is the walk early every morning to secure sun beds. You need to be up around 6 to get a decent position. Food was lovely and plenty for vegetarians. Drinks are brilliant. Entertainment is rubbish - short walk to the town centre where there are.plenty of shops and bars. The poolside snack bar is fantastic - meals are massive! This means you don't have to completely dry off and go inside to eat. One member of staff in the dining room was over familiar and became a pest. We told reception about this son hopefully this has been addressed

VValentin LWe spent a perfect week in this hotel at the end of June. Hotel at a very good level. Common areas everywhere clean, rooms are cleaned every day and after each cleaning we found clean towels in the bathroom. Helpful and accommodating hotel staff. A couple of times we needed something at the reception and it was always taken care of in no time. The food was also very decent and the service was friendly. Beautiful beach with crystal clear water. We had free sunbeds and towels from the hotel which was also nice.

We arrived on a late evening during the week. The hotel left a few sandwiches for us in the minibar fridge of the room (nice touch). We enjoyed very much the rooms (standard doubles), extremely clean ,spacious enough (no minibar goods, just a fridge, useful to keep water). Rooms were cleaned daily by lovely staff. Indoor pool was closed and never tried the spa but the outdoor pool was good enough for us, but we especially enojyed the gorgeous beach which is 5 minutes away, so close that we could just go the the hotel bar during the day to get our all inclusive drinks (coctktails, beers and also you could refill your water bottle for free). One thing we didn't know is that we needed to pay for parasol and sunbeds (€2,5 for each item, so turns out an extra 15 per day for us, oh well). The resort food was fantastic, every day for lunch and dinner something different on top of the usual. No complaints there. outside lunch and dinner, you could still get some food at the table, but you need to sit down and order from the table. one little annoying thing was that you always need to wear shoes/flipflops and are not allowed to go to buffet in swimming costumes even outside restaurant hours. Not a big deal for us but a little for my children. you are located 1.5Km from crazy night life of Ayia, so about €15 taxi ride (€20 if it's late a night) which i think it's a great compromise for a quite relaxing holiday at the beach and some crazy night in Ayia (remember the place is ideal for under 25). we also booked a boat trip which i totally recommend (we booked ours from Viator, all in time all beautiful and perfect).

Currently staying at the Sunny Blue hotel, in Ayia Napa, Cyprus. Wasn't sure what to expect given limited reviews. But seriously...no need to worry. Its a fab hotel. Looks like it has undergone a refurb, as rooms are pretty luxurious. Huge, comfy beds and a flat screen telly. Nice bathroom too, with plenty of hot water. Lovely pool area with cascading water features, and jacuzzi bubbles one end. Complimentary breakfast included which was half decent. Season almost at an end so hotel quiet which is perfect for us, as we are the only ones by the pool...bliss!! Only 10 mins into resort so ideal. Would definitely return to this hotel, given the price we paid. Highly recommend.

GGuest UserFirstly before we even arrived I emailed the hotel multiple times with a query we had about our upcoming stay and they just ignore you and never get back to you (other guests have also said this has happened to them). The staff are very rude and have no interest in their guests (apart from one man making the pancakes every morning at breakfast he was so polite and loves to talk to all guests). The so called lifeguard is the rudest man you’ll ever meet, he just sits there talking to people on his phone while rolling tobacco cigarettes yet he had the audacity to shout at my boyfriend in front of everyone for jumping in the pool even though there were NO signs whatsoever that jumping in the pool was forbidden (just diving - which he didn’t do). He shouted “hey you do you want me to say it in another language” being rude and sarcastic. You have to pay for wifi and it only works in the room or reception area it doesn’t work by the pool or by the bar so I had to use my mobile data even though I paid for the wifi. Some days the hotel doesn’t play any music at all around the pool so it’s just complete silence and when they do play music, it’s the same awful depressing cover versions of pop songs on a continuous loop every 5 songs. There is only entertainment 3 nights a week and it is very short and not very good (it’s either a singer or dancer). It’s so bad that most people tend to go out into Ayia Napa and find their own entertainment, which is what we have done every night as we had no idea how boring the hotel was when we booked which is outrageous considering we have paid all inclusive and we still go out every day spending money The food is average but not very good at all. You have to pay for the mini fridge in the hotel room - not just to consume the items inside but to actually unlock the fridge door! So you can’t cool your own food and drink without paying for access to your fridge. You also have to pay for the wifi, safe and bottled water. The sunbeds are awful and uncomfortable and some are broke. The hotel is advertised as being ON the soft sand beach when in fact the beach it is on is a rocky beach that is only used for fishing and you have to walk 10 minutes to get to the soft sand beach where you are able to sunbathe and you have to pay for each sun bed. After being here 2 days we went and inquired about a late check out for in 5 days time because we knew they might not have availability as normal hotel check out time is 12pm and we were getting picked up at 6pm. We were told to come back and check again the next day which we did, just to be told again to come back and check again the day after and this happened every day until the morning we were leaving for them to say there was not ONE room available for us to have for a late check out as our transfer wouldn’t be picking us up for hours. This left us with no room or shower for 6 hours forced to just sit around in reception. Genuinely the only good thing about this h
