Don’t be put off by negative reviews. We stayed here from 13th July for 4 nights and the only thing we can fault is the room not being cleaned. The room itself was very spacious and modern, we requested a pool view on booking and got one. The only negative thing we have to say is that the room didn’t get cleaned the whole time we were there but when we asked for fresh towels and bin bags there was no issue in getting them. The food and drinks here are reasonably priced and the portion sizes are big. The area that the hotel is in is a quiet area about 4 minute walk to Ayia Napa square which we found nice as you weren’t amongst the hustle and bustle constantly. The bar and housekeeping staff were amazing and very accommodating.

The hotel has its own outdoor pool on the beach, especially the first floor. The balcony window can be used to jump directly into the pool. The room is small but the clean facilities are very new. The hotel's breakfast room outdoor terrace view is great, overall the price is very high.

We recently stayed at this beautiful property! WOW! The rooms are perfect and the staff are all so friendly and kind, the food is delicious and we had a wonderful peaceful holiday in a stunning location! The view from our rooms was stunning - directly overlooking the crystal clear blue sea, like a scene from a movie! It was just so beautiful! Absolute heaven! The rooms are lovely, think marble side tables and dressing tables, beautiful walk in shower room of the best quality and crisp clean white linen, highest quality beds that were huge - seriously huge, Mahoosive! Complete with electric blinds to black out the room if required, great air con, a mini bar and high quality soaps and shower gels, room service - everything you could need and more - even the turn down service was perfectly performed every evening with little chocolates left for that late night sneaky treat! The service staff and cleaners were lovely, they really do care and absolutely every member of this little bit of paradise wants you to have the best possible holiday that you can! our rooms were spotlessly cleaned every single day! The hotel is based directly by the beach with shops bars and restaurants around not that you will need them - the onsite restaurants are full of the very best quality food prepared by high quality chefs, nothing is too much trouble! Breakfast is an absolute feast, you can pretty much have what you want fresh fruit, yoghurts, cold meats, cooked full English, breads, pastries cereals an egg chef, literally whatever you can think of - they have it! There are buffet nights, a stunning fish restaurant by the beach, an a la carte option , a grill for lovely Souvlaki and kebabs, Salads or burgers etc - so much choice, The restaurants in this hotel will not disappoint they are lovely and the food quality is excellent, the staff are just so incredibly friendly and kind! The Fishermans hut is superb, i'm not keen on fish but the rest of the family are - no problem they just got me what I preferred - nothing was too much trouble! There are Greek nights and Cypriot nights with wonderful singers and entertainment. We were on full board but the prices were extremely reasonable - I would recommend very highly at least going on half board or you will miss out! The food is Lush! The onsite shop is extremely reasonably priced, lots of trinkets and gifts/clothing to browse and indulge in! We did not try the spa but others told us it was excellent! The location is directly, and I do mean directly, on the beach! You step off of your Sunbed onto a powder sand beach and walk a few short steps to the calmest, warmest sea ever - this hotel is based in one of the most beautiful locations on earth! We have been to Cyprus many times before but this really is something else - the Grecian bay is on another level all together! Absolutely beautiful Hotel which never fails to disappoint. Hotel is spotlessly clean thanks to the wonderful Housekeeping Team. The rooms are modern with all on trend fixtures and fittings designed to make your stay at Napa Mermaid one to remember. The food and drinks are second to none - there will always be something for you to eat, breakfast, lunch & dinner. Lots of outside space around the pool to spend your lazy days & a beautiful bar to enjoy a cocktail watching the sun go down. If you feel like working out whilst enjoying the delights of Napa Mermaid, the gym has everything you need for a good workout! I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed if you book this wonderful Hotel which is just far enough outside of Ayia Napa for you to stroll into Town to enjoy the nightlife or jump a cab!

Not long been back from a 9 night stay at this hotel. Only have positive things to say about the hotel. Immaculately clean in all areas from the hotel rooms to all public areas including the pool 🏊. We stayed on a b&b basis and the choice was plentiful and fresh at breakfast. You could eat outside and enjoy the beautiful views overlooking the sea or eat inside in the airy, comfortable air conditioned restaurant. The vibe at this hotel is one of peace and tranquility. There are day time activities to get involved with but there is no pressure. This was our second visit to the hotel this year. We very much enjoyed the bbq evening and international night. The hotel went above and beyond - we wanted to see a European football ⚽️ match in Nicosia and the hotel staff assisted in obtaining a Cypriot fan identity to allow us to buy tickets which was not an easy process, so we were really grateful for their help and advice. Our favourite area to relax were the super comfy sun loungers on the raised beach area with fantastic views of the sea and beach literally metres away. Thank you to the team at the Grecian Sands. Can’t wait to return.

Average experience because it is below expectation. mediocre personal services, the kind of communication from the personal side is far below mediocre. Apart from the 2 Romanians at the restaurant and at the bar on the beach and an older gentleman also from the beach, the rest of the staff's attitude is totally disappointing. They don't have a mini bar at ”5 stars”, they give the Romanians rooms for disabled people that are uncomfortable if you stand up because everything is very low. We asked for another room and they give but after many interventions. The upstairs rooms with a sea view are beautiful, you must take all inclusive, otherwise a glass of water is 3.5 euros. Food is ok. We had half board and at dinner on the last evening we came across a waiter who did not gave us not even water . It's a shame because the location is beautiful.

Wonderful hotel. We loved it so much last year we returned again this year accompanied by two friends. The rooms are modern with comfortable beds, a great shower and feel light and air.. Everything is well thought through from socket location to storage. The hotel is spotlessly clean. A special mention to the lovely lady whose name I didn’t catch who cleaned the downstairs floor by the buffet and pool area endlessly. Although you were busy, you always said hello and spent a few moments to chat. The staff are warm and welcoming and genuinely can’t do enough for you. We arrived at 03.00 am to be greeted warmly and enthusiastically by the wonderful Irena. Irena, you are a joy, you greeted us nightly with your infectious personality and warm hospitality. Buffet breakfast was amazing, every taste catered for, seating both indoors or outside was a wonderfully relaxed start to the day. The restaurant food was excellent with beautiful views of the sea. The restaurant staff were all friendly, charming and hard working. Again, nothing was ever too much trouble, even when we arrived late one evening for a nightcap (as the restaurant was closing) we were greeted warmly and encouraged to take our time. This hotel really does feel special. The owner Lisa is visible and very much hands on at all times checking everyone has everything they need for a wonderful stay. I've never returned to the same hotel twice but we loved this hotel & the staff so much so we will definitely be back again for a 3rd, 4th etc visit…... I think it will be hard to find another hotel as good as this one on many levels. Thank you to everyone at the Flamingo Paradise Beach Hotel for such a wonderful holiday & warm stay.

Beautiful chilled out hotel right on the sea front, Our room was on the top floor seafront so we had some amazing views The room was a good size , very clean as expected small TV and fridge but the fridge wasn't that great barely kept things chilled , the bed was so comfortable though had some great sleeps The Aircon wasn't the best though you literally had to stand under it too feel it The bathroom had a walk in shower but sometimes the pressure wasn't great did the job though The breakfast buffet had a very good selection of English and continental food always found something to eat when we went can't comment on the lunch and dinner . The hotel has a very chilled out vibe , lovely staff always saying hello to you apart from when we left and handed the key in the dark haired lady at reception didnt say 1 word to us - no everything ok , did you enjoy yourself have a nice trip - she just looked at the pair of us like mmmm like what was we doing here - my partner looked at me and said the exact same thing - stuck up - your a receptionist love dont look down on us your on minimum wage in cyprus - apart from her all the other staff where ok we went out every night but there was a piano player in the main bar on one night don't no if there's any other entertainment The pool is too small for the hotel and has been said the sunbed hoggers are here in force Saw a few children here but there really is nothing for them to do apart from the pool Pros Lovely view if sea facing The vibe Very clean Friendly staff well most of them Good food Location . Good value for money hotel. Stayed for six nights. As we arrived into Ercan Airport at 1am, we pre-booked a taxi through the hotel - arrangement worked well. Taxi was 1400TL. The bedroom was cleaned really thoroughly everyday. Bedroom air conditioning effective and complimentary water provided daily. Breakfast was pretty good. We ate in the hotel bar one evening - food reasonable and not overpriced. Location good - a coffee shop on site, nearby ATMs, corner shops and takeaway restaurants. Hotel is near Easter Mediterranean University. Only issues were lots of steps to main reception with no easily accessible lift - so if you have a lot of luggage you'll need to be a mountain goat. Also, no reading lights on bedside table and no furniture on balcony.
