This is our 20th or so time at Amathus. Marvellous place, very kind staff, and lots of happiness and joy for us. Everyone is trying their best to attend to the guests' requests and create a pleasant atmosphere. Thanks a lot to everyone who is taking part in creating this world of holiday for us. Especially: Diana and Yana (from Guest relations), Martina Vokalova, Nikos Kousioumi, Dariana Dimitrova, Zina Makariou, Giorgios Appios, Marios Herodotou, Anca Fatu, Andrijana Ristoska, Romane Poulmarch, Alexandros Koutras, Chris Mannaris, Mikalis Yoanou, Dimitri, Dimitris Dimitriou, Elena Gerboud, Panayiotis Panayi, Borislava Tsempektsi, Adonis Ellinas, Konstantina (from the gym), Anastasija Bainarovica, George Koudellas, Svetlana Mavros, Stavroula Anzoriou. This hotel is one of the best I have ever visited. The staff is absolutely amazing. As my son has an allergy, I requested to speak to the Chef. When I met with him, the F&B Manager also came which for me was very professional. The Chef Michalis was amazing, as he catered for my sons every need and also went that extra mile to arrange a special breakfast for him. Thank you Michali, you were great. The F&B Manager Yiannis was also amazing. He contacted me several times and even came to our table at dinner to make sure everything was ok. Everything was perfect and the food we ordered was out of this world. Martina also took great care of my son, she is a great bonus to the hotel, as is Christoforos, the life guard who is excellent with children and very polite. Thank you all and we will see you again :)

Amazing hotel, all staff are so friendly and helpful. Great for family’s, never struggled to get a sun bed. Lovely and clean every where, amazing food, so much choice. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful hotel in the near future.

Amazing hotel! Every staff was the best I’ve seen at any hotel. A lot of food options . Luxurious room and room service. They gave free snacks! The Lobby was amazing. There was a lot of pools, but the inside one was very salty, a bit gross. Quite pricey but I do not regret it at all!

Our family holiday at Amathus was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, my husband, our two girls, and I felt right at home. The hotel truly has everything a family could need and the staff is incredible, so warm and kind. My little one loved seeing Andriana and Panayiotis every day, they were the best :D The main restaurant and its buffet were a highlight each day, with a wide variety of delicious food. The beach was pristine and we loved the kids toys by the water and also the kids pool (always in the shades). The amenities at Amathus are second to none. The pool area is stunning (including the adult pool with seawater, absolutely beautiful). Our girls especially adored the kids club, which offered a range of activities each day and very friendly staff. We also truly enjoyed the afternoon shows at 5PM including the music and juggler shows. They were perfect! A special mention to our junior suite with private pool which was absolutely breathtaking. The suite was spacious, luxurious, and offered breathtaking views (pictures attached). THaving our own private pool was a real treat and added a special touch to our first family holiday abroad. It was a great space to use especially during the hot hours as the pool is always in the shades. A must book, highly highly recommended. Overall, our experience at Amathus Hotel was unforgettable. We can’t wait to return and create more wonderful memories at this beautiful hotel.Highly recommended for families looking for a luxurious and comfortable holiday in Cyprus!

A superb five star hotel, The staff are the ones who really make this hotel what it is, They go above and beyond to make sure every guest is well catered to, We had a slight issue with noise on the first night and were quickly re allocated a room to a quieter area, Much appreciated. Rooms are pleasant and a decent size, We stayed in inland room, This featured a large king-size bed and large double sofa bed, Apparently the Seaview rooms are smaller and better suited to 2 adults and one child as the balcony takes up some of the room space - A Seaview room would have been lovely, But I think for our family size we would’ve been better suited to book 2 rooms, We were happy enough in the one room and it more than served its purpose, Room was kept beautifully clean and tidy by housekeeping. The hotel has a very chilled and relaxing atmosphere, It’s the most relaxed I felt after returning from a holiday, The landscape Gardens are beautifully kept and so inviting. Drink service is constantly flowing around the pools and gardens. There is plenty to keep the children entertained with kids club, a small children’s splash Pool with two waterslides, lifeguards there to enforce no running/ safety etc.. Not forgetting the fabulous inflatable fun on the sea bay, My boys spent hours each day playing on there as did myself and my husband! staff / lifeguards there were lovely and great with the kids, sorry I didn’t catch their names. The food was some of the best we have ever tried in Europe, The buffet each morning for breakfast offered a variety of cold and hot food all freshly prepared, With freshly squeeze orange juice available, juices, teas, coffee’s Prosecco etc.. It was so lovely to have table service for drinks at Breakfast , it’s these little touches that really do credit a five star hotel. We stayed half board and took advantage of both lunch and dinner, Lunch and dinner was either a buffet option or you could order from à la cart menu at the kalypso restaurant, Choosing a starter main and desert, Portions were extremely generous and the food was outstanding I was full after my delicious ceaser salad starter! We also ate in the grill room, which was amazing delicious steak cooked to perfection, fantastic service, We really were so very well looked after. We travel with a child who has a serious allergy, I informed the hotel of this before arrival and the hotel were fantastic, We met with restaurant staff and chefs and they insured safe preparation of food for him every day, We ordered food from the children’s menu and they insured his allergies were well noted. This kind of care and attention is extremely important when you’re dealing with a serious allergy, Thank you for taking such great care. Special mention to Zina in the Kalypso restaurant who was just an absolute pleasure.
