What a perfect place to explore the old town and the surrounding areas. The staff have gone above and beyond in providing all the comfort we needed after six hours motorbike ride. What came to our surprise is the Michelin standard of food the was the highlight of the stay(please see photos. Love the plane and we will be back.

I spent two nights at this lovely boutique hotel in January of this year.It was perfect.This place has lots of character.My room was large and clean and opened onto a beautiful terrace with a great view of the river.Sleep quality was excellent.Breakfast was included in the price and it was perfect....I booked dinned for each night and it was more than I could eat....I want to mention the staff-the owners David and Karima as well as Annas who handled check-in and who was kind enough to carry my luggage to the taxi on the afternoon I was leaving,Houssine and Youenes....This place is top class....Worth returning to...I am happy to give it 10 out of 10.

Adresse de charme au cœur de la médina , déco magnifique , piscine agreable , transats confortables et accueil plus que pro , le réceptionniste vous indique un parking couvert et gardeé hors de la médina (15 dirhams la nuit) et vous accompagne pour les bagages . I reserved 2 river view rooms and two regular rooms for a family reunion. When I got there, inexplicably the second Riverview room was given to a *********** guest, and of course the manager blamed the employee for "not knowing" how to block this second room. I ended up with a "terrace view" room, which is really nothing short of a room on the roof, the room so tiny, it's not fit for a single person, there is no a/c, the room was sooo hot to sleep in, and if you open the Windows, you have to deal with insects and pretty much everyone seeing you sleep. The bathroom is stinky, my nephew's next door shower was clogged, and they refused to fix. The worse for me was being woken up by a centipede crawling on my arm -- I would then find 3 other insects. When I told the reception -- of course they said they could do nothing about it. The manager then came up and started yelling at me that I need to not speak (you can hear everything in this tiny riad -- the pictures are a lie -- they make everything appear so much bigger and nicer than the reality). Worse, the manager was drunk (his breath reeking of alcohol) and just kept repeating that I need to deal with my insect situation and that I shouldn't complain. The remainder of the staff do the best they can as far as kindness -- but really the place is a scam, the pool is very narrow, very dirty. The breakfast was o.k. The room with a view (which my dad had) was o.k. but also incredibly tiny, with no dresser, and nothing but a small bed facing the window. I have travelled all over Morocco, and this is by far the WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had in a Riad. Stay away from this place and the drunkard who manages it. He actually gets mad if you speak in English and keeps telling you not to speak English. Very weird crazy experience.

What a lovely place. The view from the terrace is terrific. Often photos on *********** make accommodation look prettier than it really is, but there really is a magnificent view of the river, the city walls and city. The room was comfy and had everything I needed, including a heater, which was very welcome and a rare find during my travels. Breakfast was good (juice, tea/coffee, yogurt, cheese, several breads, jams and honey, and eggs had I wanted them). The staff were all polite, friendly and helpful. One met me at the gate to the medina to guide me to the place initially and kindly carried my backpack back there when I left. I really liked all the shelves in the bathroom too. Usually my things end up on the floor as few accommodation places seem to think of shelving for guests. The bathrobes were a nice touch as well. If I return to Azemmour, I'll definitely stay again. The art work in the various rooms of the building was a bonus too and lovely to look at.
